Israel called and wiwiblogger Edd just had to answer.

A few weeks ago he won a VIP package to Israel Calling as part of an online competition staged by organisers. As the winner he received two airline tickets, hotel accommodation, food and access to all of the very special events for some very special Eurovision stars.

As you can see in the video below, he had a blast touring ancient sites, dancing with the likes of Jessica Mauboy and Jessika Muscat, and even playing frisbee with Zibbz (with what appears to be a metal disc).

Other Eurovision stars who make a cameo in the video include Ari Olafsson, Alfred & Amaia, Ryan O’Shaughnessy, Jenifer Brenning, Mikolas Josef, Balkanika and SuRie.

On the red carpet, in the forest, on the stage (and indeed on another stage in a cave) — he takes you everywhere. Enjoy!

Which Eurovision stars look like the most fun to you? Do you want Israel to give YOU a call? Let us know in the comments box below!

I love how the song he uses goes “you’ve got to give me more time” – who wouldn’t want more time at this amazing pre-party and tour of Israel? Watching the videos and photos reminded me of visiting Jerusalem for Passover last April. I really miss it and would love to go back. So much great culture and natural beauty. And man, the food is to die for. Nothing like an Israeli meal. If they have cheese at anything, eat it. It’ll be the best you’ve ever had in your life. Also, as the humor writer Dave Barry once noted:… Read more »

Not a big fan of Australia’s entries, but their artists are such good mates, apart from Isaiah maybe.

I thought wiwiblog is rich. They made huge money from all the youtube reaction videos. Kids like reaction videos.

I think you have confused wiwibloggs with Pewdiepie.

It’s a nice sentiment but I’m not fussed about attending Israel Calling – and I somehow don’t think that return flights from NZ to Israel are in the budget for the Israel Calling organisers! When it comes to ESC travel, I’m happy to do things the boring old way – save up for a couple of years and pay my own way.

Thanks for the info. It is important to maintain journalistic independence. I dont like Pewdiepie he has been bought out by advertisers

Sadly the more traffic you get, the more expensive of a server you need. Money made isn’t profit…it just goes to paying the web site bills, security fees, equipment for the web site, etc. When you account for time taken off work, travel expenses and incidentals it is a money-losing exercise. But it’s also a matter of love so we don’t mind 🙂

You guys do an amazingly professional work with the imperfect means you have at your disposal. Well done! We love it:)
