On the fourth day of Eurovision 2018 rehearsals, the last nine acts of the second semi-final took to the stage for their first rehearsals.

Here is my take on semi 2: SURE BETS: Sweden, Norway. Whether you are a fan of over-produced Scandi-pop or not, there is no doubt that these two are qualifying. All signs are in the right direction: Odds, you tube views, journalist reports. Signed, sealed, delivered. MOST LIKELY QUALIFYING: Australia and Ukraine. Incorrect: Jamala was #3 in the odds and youtube views. In odds she was trailing Russia and Australia, in youtube she was was trailing Russia and France. There was always a chance.
If I remember well, the second rehearsal is allowed to be fully recorded by blogs. So today we will see all 3 minutes of the performances, because today start 2nd rehearsals. Hope I’m right.
You remembered right, but this year they actually changed the rules for press, like Robyn said yesterday on a live stream. Press is aloud to the hall, but they can’t film there and there is no point either, because it’s dark there. We got to see only snippets again. And honestly, I like it that way. I think it’s way better, when we see the finished performances on a big night and not before some bad quality and bad angles filmed ones ?

its not ab my preferences, its just my analysis based on the staging, the vocals, the general reception, the running order and the genres. Croatia doesnt have anyother similar song in the SF (maybe Cyprus but there are 6 songs in between with completely different genres). Romania is a rock song in a semi with the Netherlands, Hungary and Ukraine and in my opinion all 3 are better than the romanian song, the other disadvantage is that Romania is placed after Norway and its 2nd in the running order and entries going 2nd rarely qualify!

i mean you never know, since RO has never missed a Final and the bottom 5 slots in second SF are rlly anybodys game. According to voting Patterns Romania has recieved most points by Moldova, Israel, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Cyprus (only 1 out of 6 Countries can vote in this semi, thus not looking good for them). Hungary (obviously, my 1st place), Norway, Ukraine, Denmark, Netherlands, Moldova, Montenegro… I don’t really think this semi is bad if you compare it to semis from the past.
