In the aftermath of the Grand Final, Eurovision 2018 artists have started climbing the worldwide Spotify and iTunes charts. They really are on fuego, and they ain’t cooling down anytime soon.

We’ve put together a list of all the contestants in Lisbon whose songs are already charting in the top 10 in at least one country. Keep in mind, we don’t list every country where an act is charting, nor do we mention every act.

There are simply too many! If you’d like to know that Australia’s Jessica Mauboy is charting at #184 in Bermuda, head over to esctracker, where the full list is available.

So, without further adieu, here are this year’s biggest commercial hits (as of Monday at 16:00 GMT).

It would be a major feat for Netta to appear on the Billboard Hot 100! There hasn’t been a successful Eurovision hit in the USA since Gina G with “Ooh Ahh just a Little Bit”, which peaked at Number 11 in 1996.

NITZAN

Netta 10th on global ITunes, Eleni 14th.

Juan Cena

Spotify has both “Fuego” and “Toy” on its “Summer Hits” playlist (at least in America). Might be a sign Spotify thinks the songs have legs, as they say in the biz.

The uk midweek chart update, based on sales, downloads and streams has Surie (UK) at 32
Netta at 52
Elani at 72.

The official chart will be announced on friday

Netta won but people are still talking about Fuego! LOL well done Eleni!!!

Juan Cena

People are talking about Netta as well, obviously.

Lol

How does speaking of one song (despite the article discussing various songs) take away from another?

Toni

Yet Toy is charting higher.

Anita

Wow – I have just found out that Netta’s music video has 41 million views until today.

Juan Cena

It’s up to 43 million now, and that’s just on the Eurovision channel.

“Fuego” has 4.5 million views on the official ESC channel. The version on the Panik Records channel has over 6 million

“Toy” is closer to being the kind of kitsch Eurovision that many people enjoy than anyone wants to admit. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that!)

Mika
Guest

What about spotyfy? Is people still using iTunes ?!

Toni
Guest

On Spotify Viral (Global) Netta – Toy #2 and Fuego #3. Viral is actually most important, as it tells how many people are listening AND sharing the song.

Toni
Guest

Sorry I need to correct this. Those were yesterday’s numbers. Toy #3, Fuego #9 today.

Chartia
Guest

Hoooneyyyy Eleni is #1 and Netta is #100, I don’t know where you are getting your numbers!!

Toni
Guest

From Spotify.

Toni
Guest

Netta’s Toy is currently #5 on World-Wide iTunes Charts. The reason you see it at #26 on the website is due to Toy having two titles (one in English, the other in Hebrew). When those numbers are combined (as they should be, it’s the same song), she is #5.

Dah

Foureira is charting Number 15 globally not Netta, please correct.

Toni

Netta is #5 honey.

In a few weeks let’s do the same analysis with Salvador Sobral new song. Yes, it’s true, he was not one of the competitors, but taking into account everything I have read from all around the world about his new song and his performance i admit i’m really curious to know this analysis. I do not want to disrespect this year entries, but in my opinion the real winner of the eurovision contest was Salvador. What a song and what a performance. His voice and a piano, LIVE. According to the latest news here in Portugal, Jimmy Fallon is trying… Read more »
Toni

Salvador was not competin this year, so he cannot be a winner of any sorts. His song broke records when it won, but it was not something Abba, Loreen etc hadn’t already done. It’s time to move on. The winner is Netta. Next year it’ll be someone else. I think everyone just wants to move on from the shockingly disrespectful comments and arrogance this year brought along. Let’s hope Europe will be more united next year.

aags
Guest

As i wrote before “Yes, it’s true,HE WAS NOT ONE of the competitors, but taking into account everything I have read from all around the world about his new song and his performance i admit i’m really curious to know this analysis”.
Do you understand what i’m trying to say?
Yes, Salvador was not competing this year, but aroud the globe everybody says i was the real winner of the competition, isn’t it curious ?

If you think his songs breaks records why don’t you go next year to the competition and try to win with a better final score, 758 points.

Toni
Guest

Nobody is saying that.

aags
Guest

Ok. Toni, after reding better i I understood now ‘the breaking records’ real meaning.
I’m sorry for this misunderstanding.
Yes it’s true let’s hope Europe will be more united next year.
And don’t forget “Music is not fireworks, music is feeling”…. Salvador is right.

Toni
Guest

Music can be both, and very often is.

Aags
Guest

Yes, it’s true but i stiil prefer music instead of fireworks, because music can be feelings and last forever. Fireworks are just firework, just ephemeral.
That’s the Salvador message, but many still don’t understood.
🙂

have a feeling that Israel has “fixed” the results with money. All they wanted was the world to hear “see you in JERUSALEM in 2019” . (The next day of the grand final, they killed inoccent Palestinians and Trump announced the American embassy in JERUSALEM!) Something stinks very bad here..?

Ethan1994
Guest

Well unless you provide solid proof, that “feeling” is only an assumption, and not a fact.

Yan
Guest

Really? Do you read international news or Israeli based news

Angelo
Guest

Perhaps if russia had won that might be true. But israel are not very good at spinning.its not their way.

Juan Cena
Guest

Russia not making it surprised the crud out of me. I was sure Putin’s trolls were gonna find a way to get them in the final.

mynameiswhat
Guest

what i got from your comment is “i didn’t like toy so it’s impossible other people liked it so i’m gonna spin this to make israel look bad”. seriously dude, toy won fair and square, i think it’s a perfect song, i think netta is super talanted and honestly, all the other events that happand in israel in the past week are unrelated to the eurovision. enough with this bitterness with toy already

Talentina Monetta
Guest

I’m really happy that a lot of songs are doing well on both iTunes and Spotify this year!

Toni
Guest

Toy is actually higher on the same chart Fuego sits on. Combine the points of Toy and the Hebrew title of the same song, and she is sitting at 13k+ points, which is way above Fuego’s 9k.. Netta is also #2 on global viral list on Spotify.

Toni

Netta is also the highest-charting Eurovision artist on iTunes globally. She currently sits at #15, just ahead of Charlie Puth (“Done for Me”) and just behind Drake (“God’s Plan”).

It proves that Eurovision as a platform does have huge influence over the sales or streams. Interesting how it differs to the result in some cases.

And guys.. play nice.. give the wiwi team some credit.

Check this. Netta – ??? (somehow this was changed to ??? but it was written in a different language.) & Netta – Toy
Eleni is just charting high because Netta has 2 versions of Toy.
Netta is Top 5 on WW iTunes if you add both versions.

Benjamin Ingrosso success in charts shows that he was penalized because he represented Sweden.

ochi chernye
Guest

Dislike as much as you want. I wasn’t even a fan of Ingrosso, but the fact that he got 24th position shows that eurofans are biased as fuck! If he was representing Italy or Ukraine you would have loved it. Thank god we got the juries.

Kyna
Guest

ha, like Italy and Ukraine would ever send such a generic and dull songs lmao

MaxYronwood

Why cannot you accept the fact that people truly didn´t like the song (like me)?

Milla
Guest
It’s clear that the juries and the televoters wanted different things this year. Benjamin had one of the most modern songs in the competition that was not very Eurovision-friendly to begin with. That is what the juries saw and awarded it. But.. the televoters are pretty much stuck with same old same old.. I also believe that Sweden was somehow punished for earlier success. Benjamin didn’t deserve it. The presscenter cheered when Sweden recieved low points.. That’s ugly behaviour in my opinion. So now people don’t want us to succeed I guess. We might as well skip Eurovision and only… Read more »

Davve, Sara, Denis, etc. etc. – don’t you get tired?… We all get it: You love Sweden and you find it the best country in the world and the music that is produced in Sweden is magnificient. Good for you! But this constant bashing of anyone that did not enjoy dance you off is too much. You should take inspiration of the great Swedish designers: Less is more!

Angelo

Are we talking about Ikea and H&M. If so i would say its over lessy. The wood/fabric is so thin that it breaks down in case you need to reassemble/wash it.

Gerrit

Don’t flatter yourself, kiddo! iTunes Charts are NOT Official Charts, and besides, his song has not peaked at #1 anywhere, not even in Sweden.

Koning
Guest

So, those people think that iTunes charts are the official Billboard ones? iTunes is just one retailer among hundreds, so if a song gets number one there but nowhere else, it won’t enter any official chart. To be number one or hundred on any official digital-songs chart, songs need to chart in EVERY major download store and streaming service, not just iTunes!

Denis
Guest

Well, he has 13 million plays on Spotify. Just signed a record label with Sony UK. New follow up single planned wiith an album release later this year. And his collabaration with Felix Sandman is number 1 on YouTube. He will do fine!

Angelo
Guest

What succes?

Alex
Guest

Damn Eleni is showing who;s the real winner. Fuego is stable at number 21 on UK ITunes, while Toy is falling. I think Fuego has bigger potential to become hit this summer and Eleni can pull an international career if she plays her cards right. Fuego is n1 in Spain and the biggest radio station is playing the song.

As an American, it’s honestly upsetting that about half of the songs from each year’s competition are not available for purchase on itunes unless you buy the entire Eurovision album (which a lot of people don’t want to do)

It’s like the artists don’t think they have a chance to succeed or make sales here…when they full well can.

has there been a confirmation if jerusalem is gonna host esc 2019?

sevzch
Guest

Not yet.. we are waiting to see if the ebu will allow the contest to be held in jerusalem… if they will have a problem with it.. then other cities in israel will propose to host… the mayor of tel aviv said he is not biding to host the contest so jerusalem will the preference but if the brodcaster KAN will say they are not willing to make the contest in Jerusalem then it wont… anyway the contest will be held in israel in any case

Danny
Guest

KAN already said there’s 0 chances that the contest will be hosted by another city. The EBU will have to bring a very good argument not to host in Jerusalem because the biggest venue is there, and the city hosted 2 times before.

Ern

So Netta won the contest, but Eleni walks away as the breakout star of the contest.

Danny
Guest

Yeah, the world was craving for a pale version of Helena Paparizu. She’s good but nothing special. Netta is being approached by international recording companies even before the contest, due to her internet success.

John
Guest

Yes the international recording companies are lining up for Netta! LOL GET REAL!!!!! LOL

BEFAN
Guest

Dear you are so NOT up-to-date with the news…. before the contest Netta got VIRAL on the internet (up to Africa) and Danny is RIGHT. Netta is the only artist charting in the USA for a reason – checkout yourself also why Ariana Grande, JLO and others – reviewed Netta’s TOY (not any other artist from ESC… (yet?). In addition Netta is #Trending1 in…..INDIA!!!

Ern
Guest

This is NOT to disparage Netta. However, nobody here in the US is really talking about her or Eurovision. Most Americans don’t even know what Eurovision is.

Also, only “Toy” is available for purchase here at the moment, but it’s not ranked in the top 200 (at least not now).

Kris
Guest

On what platform in India?

Ern
Guest

Realistically, neither Netta or Eleni will get too far outside their home countries. Recent Eurovision winners don’t generally become international celebrities. However, they both will get their 15 minutes of international fame to enjoy.

Otto
Guest

I personally wanted Eleni to win but I have to say they’re both amazing. As far as I’m concerned, they could both be international superstars. Netta has her own unique yet sincere style that makes many big names in the music business look dull whereas Eleni’s stage presence and the ability to dance like crazy while maintaining flawless live vocals makes many highly succesful female artists look amateurish. Seriously, the music industry forces people to like certain artists while gems like these get too little attention globally.
And both are now doing great on the charts!

Dalth
Guest

Wish I had ur faith lol she will be back singing in some dodgy Greek nightclub by end of the year is most likley I’m afraid

Ern
Guest

LOL …. I love how you put it.

GiavK
Guest

I’m afraid that also….just like Helena paparizou who had the chance to do something international but instead she chose to release songs in Greece and Sweden and just stayed there…:(

francis
Guest

What about the other songs? please do a full list. Im curious about lithuania.

Joni
Guest

This just proves that Eleni was the real winner. That everyone wanted her to win over Israel. I dont get the results. Sounds fishy to me.

Danny
Guest

Aha, as said every year about every winner. I absolutely hated Salvador last year, but you got to accept the reality and move on, find a hobby or something.

Dalth

Jesus Christ she lost get over it

Clorfild

WHERE’S SARA ALTO? UK YOU’RE A DISAPPOINTMENT.

Dan

Do they even show Eurovision in New Zealand? Or is Robyn playing that song on repeat down there.

How the heck is Higher Ground in top 17? What’s so special about that song? Yikes

sevzch
Guest

i really liked higher ground when it came out…. now i kinda forgot about it….

Lae
Guest

Not surprising. This year the ESC channel unblocked videos to Latin American and South Korea, more people were able to watch it.

sevzch
Guest

Im so happy for Foureira and Netta both did an amazing job both winners IMO but still i cant understand why people are refusing to recognized Netta as the winner claiming the results are fake… (and i wont be surprised if my comment will get dislikes) IMO both of my number ones were IL and CY!! But in the end someone had to win and it was Netta…

Jo.
Guest

I don’t like the song, but she won and that’s it. Jerusalem 2019 is happening and there’s no need for drama.

oprah
Guest

Has there been a confirmation?

Danny
Guest

There will be no confirmation until the EBU decide. But all the Israeli authorities are supporting Jerusalem. Tel Aviv is not even biding. The EBU will have their decision in the upcoming months.

sevzch
Guest

Yeah but the ebu cant say it wont be in israel… they can say it wont be in jerusalem then israel will have to comprmise (sorry for my english (;

Jo.
Guest

No, but judging by recent events, it’s very unlikely that it won’t be in Jerusalem.
