The results are in! After counting a whooping 10,669 votes in our poll, we can now reveal that Ukraine‘s MELOVIN had the best postcard at Eurovision 2018. The dark knight on the white horse stole the spotlight to become our readers’ favourite in a 27% landslide!
First place: Ukraine’s MELOVIN
Clad in all black, and very reminiscent of his stage persona, MELOVIN emerges from behind a door on the dizzying cliffs of Vila Vova de Milfontes on the west coast of Portugal. Seemingly unfazed by the beauty around him, the “Under The Ladder” singer hops on a contrasting white horse and begins to roam the land as if he owns it.
In the end, MELOVIN looks at the camera and raises the brow above his eye with the striking blue lens. Standing with his back against the Atlantic, he captured the audience before the song even started. That’s how to shoot a postcard, y’all!
The army of old and new Melovinators were charmed by the singer’s gaze and threw 2,878 votes his way, helping Ukraine secure an unquestionable win with 26.98% of the ballot.
Second place: Spain’s Amaya y Alfred
Amaia and Alfred travelled to São Miguel in the Açores archipelago. The adorable couple walk hand in hand through a forest to the spectacular crater lake Lagoa do Fogo, then headed to a chef who showed them how to cook meat and vegetables in the volcanic steam.
The postcard ended with a romantic dinner for two lakeside and Amaia and Alfred’s cute smiles, which went straight to the hearts of their fans. Eventually, the Spanish duo got 11.68% of the ballot (or 1,246 votes).
Third place: Albania’s Eugent Bushpepa
Eugent Bushpepa shot his postcard in the picturesque city of Aveiro, located on the west coast of Portugal. Sporting a fresh crew cut, the Albanian singer is seen strolling through the streets past monuments and amazingly tiled facades until he gets on a boat on the canals that gave Aveiro the nickname “Venice of Portugal”.
The rocker takes in the breathtaking sights of the city, as we take in the sexy sight of him. With 625 votes (5.86%), it’s your third favourite postcard at Eurovision 2018.

Not only teenagers adore him. In our fan group “Melovin Fans Worldwide” on FB we have people of different ages (from 10 to 61) from all over the world. They really love his songs, voice, performances and personality. And the more they learn about him, the more they admire him.
