She may not have qualified for the grand final at Eurovision 2018, but she left plenty of fans going “Crazy” with her sultry performance and unbelievable stage presence.

And now Franka — among the most glamorous of this year’s World Cup WAGs — reminds us that she is still going strong by releasing her new single “Kao Ti I Ja” (Like You and I).

While “Crazy” was infused with jazz and soul elements and deliberately captured the madness of love, this track veers in a new direction. It’s more optimistic and uplifting with lyrics that encourage believing in your significant other and their love. Pleasant and breezy, it finishes with power, gaining lift with the addition of a choir. You can’t help but have a smile on your face! The song is composed by Branimir Mihaljevic, who wrote Franka’s song for Eurovision and “S Tobom” — the mega-hit that preceded it.

The music video strikes a summery tone and unfolds on a secluded island: Sveti Ivan na Pucini on the Adriatic Sea off the coast of the Croatian town of Rovinj. In the video we see Franka enjoying the simple things in life and the company of her love interest and their dog. From scene to scene Franka cuts a stunning figure in a wispy and airy white dress with a beautiful lighthouse in the background.

Talking about her song, she said: “‘Kao Ti I Ja’ is positive, gentle and at the same time a strong, energetic timeless song. The production is modern and up-to-date, and it sounds great live.”

There is also an acoustic version, which Franka released before the original one. It’s a stripped-back take that allows Franka’s voice to shine, as when she sang at Eurovision.

I love it when she does the acoustic version — too bad acoustic songs don’t really fly at Eurovision…But her energy and just the power of her positivity and the energy the location brings to the video make it shine! Also, it was amazing I was watching a travel program about Croatia (that actually went to Rovinj) while watching this!

Had she competed with this one instead of “Crazy” she would have gone straight to final! This is a tune!

Croatia can give you a summer hit thank you Franka

Franka was SO GOOD in her semi. She just beams confidence and positivity <3
