Two nights. Two shows. Over 30 Eurovision and national final stars will gather in Madrid’s Sala La Riviera this weekend for the Welcome PrePartyES and the PrePartyES, the Spanish party organised by eurovision-spain.com.

The fun begins tonight, Friday. Eleven past Eurovision stars and other acts you’ll remember from different national finals will join Spain’s Miki. One of them, Imri, who represented Israel in 2017 with “I Feel Alive” and who recently released a single mixing Hebrew and Spanish will be the host of the night, along with Víctor Escudero.

There won’t be a shortage of divas on the Spanish stage: Malta’s 2002 and 2016 singer Ira Losco and Portugal’s 2008 songstress Vania Fernandes will perform. Get ready to sing along to “7th Wonder” and wave your phone’s flashlight to the dramatic “Senhora do mar”.

Two of the most successful male artists from 2018, Alfred García (Spain) and Cesár Sampson (Austria) will take part in the festivities too. Alfred, who is a friend of Miki and regularly performs with him, will be singing songs from his album 1016.

Meanwhile, Cesár will perform his Eurovision entry “Nobody But You”. Perhaps he will be joined by another of the night’s acts, Operación Triunfo winner Famous. Both already performed together, the week after Famous’ victory.

He won’t be the only OT act in attendance. As you may remember, controversy arose back in December when TVE published the list of participating OT acts in the Eurovision selection process and three of the 16 were left out. Eurovision-spain has given them the chance to perform, and Alfonso and Dave will take to the stage.

The third OT singer who couldn’t take part in the Eurovision gala was África, although she won’t be performing because of scheduleing issues. Yet, there’s another OT contestant performing: Noelia. She was a fan favourite in the OT Eurovision gala with her power ballad “Hoy vuelvo a reír otra vez“.

Two other acts are coming to the party. Both of them have Spanish ancestry. Neither of them made it to Eurovision (so far) but both of them brought absolute bangers: Norway’s Adelén (2013) and France’s Tracy de Sá (2019) will get the party started in La Riviera.

22 Eurovision 2019 acts RSVP for Saturday night

Get your batteries well charged on Saturday morning, because the night will be intense. No less than 22 Eurovision 2019 acts will take the Madrid stage. They’ll be joined by three former Spanish representativess — 2002 entrant and the first Operación Triunfo winner Rosa López and Betty Missiego and Lydia, who represented the country when Eurovision was held in Israel.

Oh, and there’s also a very familiar face coming… Portugal’s Suzy from 2014!

She better improve after her a Amsterdam debacle. She may have been sick then….great. She better be awesome in Madrid or she’s going to have problems in Tel Aviv.
