Tomorrow night seventeen acts will take to the stage in Semi-Final 1 of Eurovision 2019.
They come from all corners of Europe in the hope of winning the Eurovision Song Contest and bringing it to their nations.
But at the end of the night, only ten acts will advance to the Grand Final and the time has come to tell us who you think should qualify.
Wherever in the world you are from, you will have opinions and we want to hear them.
Perhaps your favourite is Tamta from Cyprus. Or maybe you prefer Katerine Duska from Greece. Or it could be you have a soft spot for Serhat from San Marino. Whoever you want to get behind, vote for them now.
You can vote for up to ten acts of your choice that you want to qualify and we’ll close the poll tomorrow prior to the live broadcast. So get voting!

I would like Greece, Slovenia, Iceland, Australia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Serbia, San Marino (just for the lols), Portugal and either Poland or Belgium as the qualifiers.

I think Hungary is an easy qualifier as it has a huge appeal to Eastern European music fans. Estonia reminds me of when Hovig sang for Cyprus – nobody rated him but he sailed through. I’d love to see Poland make it but I think they’ll miss out. I think Portugal and Slovenia are too out there to both make it through – but I’m not a fan of either so I could be being blindsided.
I think Georgia will make it through solely because it is my least favourite in the entire contest, as was Hungary in 2018, Hungary in 2017 and Ukraine in 2016 (winner!) So based on that alone, it’s going through lol.

My prediction: I agree that Iceland, Greece, Australia and Cyprus are a lock, probably Czechia too. I believe all of these five countries will have enough support in both jury and televote to easily make it.

Shocking qualifier *might* even be Georgia…

The only song I can say will stay at the semi is Montenegro.

In general: Greece, Australia and Serbia are sure Q Iceland, Slovenia, Hungary, Cyprus are ”almoste sure Q” Montenegro and Finland are sure NQ all the rest are fighting for 3 places !!! ALL Possible shock NQ: Cyprus or Iceland. Possible winners Greece: Perhaps the theatrical and artistic appearance of Eurovision, but the piece is radio friendly too (definitely more than Australia and Iceland that are the big rivals) and much less divisive than most entries. I agree with you. I saw a video from tonight’s jury show and if someone is going to be shocking NQ it will definitely be Cyprus. Her vocals were not that good.
I was at the jury show and right after tamta finished her performance, my sister and I both said she’ll qualify for sure. We could be wrong but I think her performance was good enough and the song is good enough to qualify

It would be great to see San Marino qualify. Other than that, the only one I will be furious over if they don’t qualify is Hungary.

Having listened to it on the live stream, the only 2 songs I would be upset about going through are Montenegro or San Marino as I would think they have stopped better songs and performances making it through. But beyond that, it is fair game, it sounded like they all did really well, but I must say Australia got the loudest cheers – it could be a wow moment – can’t wait to see it tomorrow night!
