I’m Albanian and as one I simply cannot stay without voting for Arilena. But I gotta say that the Spain’s song this year is fire! I loved it! I can’t wait for the other songs to come out!

Lithuania’s Monique with Make Me Human would win the entire competition if Lithuania doesn’t f* up and send her. By far the only song that is worth time and money considering all the countries national selections.

Omg the Czech re pub likkkk. Like even as a British person i feel so proud for them the glow up is so real. Absolutely love kemama – it’s so bold, authentic. This is a country with real music heritage and they don’t care if they win or lose, they bring heart and soul to every entry these days. Even if this flops in a semi final for being different, they should be proud of this. It’s such a gem. Also love Albania, think Spain was a let down since the song is a bit generic but staging could lift… Read more »

Albania is by far better than the other two , but still not a guaranteed finalist, Spain will be right hand side of score board, as for Czech Republic , your a guaranteed non-finalist , potential nil points in the semi final . Absolutely one of the worst songs I ever heard . No hook to this song and it isn’t current, forgetful and lacks soul and depth . I doubt he can sing either . Nope you wasted your chance 🙁

I really don’t get this mass hysteria and hatred against Albania for winning these Wiwi polls! Arilena has a huge fanbase all over Europe and her Eurovision entry is loved by millions, so let people vote! I am Spanish and I voted for her. No one should hate on successful people!

As an Albanian we have been patient since 2004 to win. Other countries never ever treated us well so when you say something like this it’s really hypocritical, other countries have always been placed in front of mine.

You can ignore most of the mass upvoting of most pro-Albanian comments and mass downvoting of anyone else. These are done by a sad Serbian troll who does it every year to try to make Albanian Eurovision fans look crazed and unhinged.

I think its absolutely ridiculous that any comment that even remotely likes the Czech Republic’s song is voted down so much but anything that even remotely likes Albania is heaped with likes. Don’t be those toxic fans who make everyone hate you (and the song you try to force upon everyone) People are allowed to have opinions contrary to your own

I would not be suprised if our country (Czech Rep) will be fighting for the victory in the final. Its unique and Ben has a great live performance. Now we have there the first wave of hate, but I trust him and Im proud of this choice. The last one laughs the most. See you soon, Rotterdam!

I will be honest. I hate Benny’s song but I also feel that he is gonna do waaaaay better than I want to admit. Surely not a winner but an unexpected top 10 could happen. I wish the best to Czech Republic but I stay disappointed. Mikolas Josef was my favorite 2 years ago and I wait a lot from your country.

Czech Republic had one of the best national selections so far this year. I was rooting for Barbora Mochowa, and I hope she will go to ESC one day. But I think Benny Cristo is a great choice too, and with a good staging I think he can be a surprise top 10.

Albania- Bit worried about the revamp, but still the one I like the most of the lot (may got down on Sunday once Sanremo winner comes up)
Czech Republic- Not my usual style, but a nice song on an unusual style, with a good stage, it might do good on the Contest.
Spain- Too much hype for that song, another Bottom 5

Czech republic’s entry is surprisingly good. I can listen to it on repeat without getting annoyed. It has a very chill vibe to it so it’s definetly my favourite so far. Spain’s entry is another deception for me. Nothing special. Albania’s entry is just another typical albanian song which I don’t relate to.

That Czech Republic video is awful (and not just because he takes off that big white coat and dumps it on the floor) I hope they don’t try and repeat that camera work on the Eurovision stage. I do think this could translate very well into the stage, whoever was working on the staging for Lie to Me could work the same magic on this, although I think the song is a lot weaker. I like this more than most seem to, and whilst it could very feasibly flop I see potential for it to be that entry that surprises… Read more »

If Albania revamps I think it’s dead in the water whether the producers have Grammys or not, without it could qualify, think back to the last two years, I don’t think it’s as good as Eugent Bushpepa’s entry but it’s solid. As for Spain… I feel really bad for them, it’s actually a catchy song, and it is unfair because if another country had a song like that they’d likely have better fortune, but Spain seems destined for bottom 5 again, even if I don’t love it I’m rooting for it exceed expectations #justiceforspain

I haven’t heard it yet (it isn’t out), but the information on it is putting a question mark on it for me. It’s apparently going to be an English language ”radio friendly” song. As Shaj is dark and dramatic, I’m afraid they’re gonna water it down and make it less powerful. I hope not. I WANT Curse to be a great song.

Well you got to wait buddy! Arilena is such a successful singer in Albania with a song Over 67M views and I think she will make the right moves about the song, language, instrumental and revamp at all. The only thing we should be afraid is the staging cuz as you know we always flopp at that because of low financial capabilities that RTSH has.

For me still Shaj, it’s still the most impactful, most dramatic (making it rememberable), not only vocally but also instrumentally, staging-wise and lyrical-wise. The lyrics are like a deep poem, which lacks by the other two songs. This certainly shows that they put a lot of effort in the song. Also, it’s the only one which I emotionally can connect too. I don’t feel it’s robotically at all. (This is based on the unrevamped version ofc). Second favorite is Universo, I like it more and more, but lyrically it is a little lazy, and it feels very technically structured. The… Read more »

But after this weekend I’m expecting a huge shift. All three songs are good though they aren’t my favs… Albania really depends on it’s revamp, Spain’s is alright just the ending is a drag in my opinion, and there’s nothing wrong with the Czech Republic’s song just wasn’t my favorite(but it was my 4th and the lowest song in my ranking was still a 8.5/10 and I’d have been happy with it winning).

I can assure you that the number of Eurovision fans from Albania comparing to Spain is very very less… and Albanians didn’t hyped at all, this year they are still shocked with Elvana voting results so you won’t see them around Wiwibloggs website lol and same for last year “Ktheju tokes” was more liked by international fans than Albanians. 😉

Every year, there’s always one or two selections where the fans get especially nasty for reasons I can’t fathom (last year it was Australia, Estonia, France, Germany, and especially Romania where the fans were beyond toxic. And hey, as I recall, they were nasty about the Czech Republic last year too).
