After a week of shows (and late nights), Sanremo 2020 reaches its climax at the grand final this evening. The 24 23 competing acts will take to the stage for the final time in order to impress the various juries and public at home. But, if it were solely up to you, it would be Elodie walking away with the trophy for her song “Andromeda”.
Following the first two nights of the show, we asked you to vote for your favourite. You were keen to show your love, and we received a total of 2,573 votes.
Elodie is your favourite to win semi-final two of Sanremo 2020
In the end, it was Elodie who came out on top of the poll. You awarded the “Andromeda” singer with 671 votes, which is 26.08% of the total. The former bookies favourite to win, Elodie is also a favourite amongst the Wiwi Jury.
Coming in at number two is Eurovision 2017 participant Francesco Gabbani. The new bookies favourite, his song “Viceversa” picked up 378 votes (14.68%). Italy haven’t sent a returning artist since their Eurovision come back in 2011. Could that change this year?
Rounding off the podium finishers in this poll is Levante. The only other act to earn more than 200 votes, her song “Tikibombom” has been well received by viewers. She received 204 votes (7.93%).
At joint fourth are two performances that are miles apart in musical style, but have still both resonated with viewers. Diodato is performing the ballad “Fai rumore”, while Rancore has entered the rap song “Eden”. Both songs picked up 162 votes (6.30%).
The other acts to receive over 100 votes were Pinguini Tattici Nucleari, Elettra Lamborghini and Achille Lauro.

I’m happy, I guess. It’s a great quality song, he’s a very talented singer and performer. I hope it gets rewarded accordingly in Rotterdam, though I’m not so confident it will be appreciated. It wasn’t my personal favourite, but I like it more and more each time I hear it.

Hope we don’t get Diodato for Eurovision. I much prefer his 2018 Sanremo song. Hoping Gabbani has accepted Eurovision, but I’m not optimistic. Regardless, the show has been amazing! What an exciting five days.

Yeah, I think Francesco will for sure win the televote at the very least. At this point, I want Pinguini for Rotterdam.

On Tuesday night, I was unsure – but now I end the week completely won over by Achille Lauro! I loved everything about that performance.

Rita Pavone is so underrated, it’s so sad, she’s a queen. I love Levante but apparently she won’t go to ESC for her concerts. Elodie has a good song but I don’t know, I’m not a huge fan of “Andromeda”. Francesco’s song is beautiful but it’s not for ESC…

Elodie has more chances for a high place at ESC. If it’s not her I Penguini Tattici Nucleari can achieve a top 10. 10 to 15 for Diodato. Rancore and Achille can be a hit or miss with rap usually having difficulties with ESC and the latter may polarized with his eccentricity. With the others I don’t know. My favourite is Elodie. During each edition of San Remo, I have some songs that I really ‘love’. (I really loved Ermal Meta in 2017, Elodie in 2017, Loredana Bertè in 2019) But this year there are only some songs that I ‘like’. They just don’t instantly grip me…
Levante won’t go to Eurovision, because she already has concerts that week, including 16 May.

I wish they had a little brother policy with SMRTV or something. They take the highest-placing act that wants to go to ESC, and San Marino takes the second. They would never miss the final again!

Levante would be my personal pick, so I’m quite happy to see her song third in this poll. However, given her rankings over the past 4 nights, she would be lucky to even break the top 10 tonight. Of course, she probably wouldn’t go to Eurovision anyway.
gabanni song is dated and dreadful to listen to. just like 2017 i hate the song and i dont want him at Eurovision again when there are such great artists like Elodie with an amazing song. I hope she wins but i know she wont
