The end of January saw some developments in one of Eurovision’s most hectic selection processes when 49 acts tried to impress the judging panel at Belarus’ iconic live auditions. In the end, the jury selected just 12 acts to compete in the live TV final.
Now, as the 28 February selection show fast approaches, we’re asking who should win the final and represent Belarus in Rotterdam?
Listen to all 12 audition performances below. Note, many are demo versions. Also, the staging is basic, so expect everything to be upgraded in the grand final.

I would just go with Napoli or Angelika.
No song from this selection is qualifying so you might as well reward someone who, through corrupt juries or questionable televotes, were robbed in a previous year.

Sorry but the biggest crime of this year is Keysi – Chili Pepper. Such a cool and current beat and you get these “lovely” lyrics to accompany it.

They’re my favorite. Or at the very least my least-not-favorite.
Unfortunately, whatever Belarus picks this year, they’ll likely be in my bottom 5. I’d go with Angelika Pushnova. Her song might be generic and bland, but at least she sells it on stage and can sing in English. Even so, she holds a distinction of being my lowest rated NF winner in 3 years.
Others are either butchering the English language to the point of not being intelligible, have bad songs or both. Napoli has hit the rock bottom with that breathy and repetitive song with appropriation costumes.
Overall, I’m rating this selection with a No/10. 🙁
I’d like to argue that one, but I can’t. There are several songs here I consider worse than the French one, but at least there is variety and public input. Belarus at least *tries*. France is just lazy.

Chakras (some local flavour) or Keysi (urban song following last year qualification with something similar). But I don’t know if they would even qualify. Also only two or three weeks remain until deadline. Aren’t they supposed to revamp the winner?
I’d say there was nothing wrong with the backing vocalists – they hit every note, it’s just that the chords were at some moments a bit strange and unexpected, but that’s how they were written. And of course, the vocalists looked a little ridiculous reading their notes from a sheet.

Based solely on these auditions, meaning my favorites probably well change based on final performances(though by then we’ll have a winner) these are my current favs(no particular order):
