It confirmed Ana Soklič as zalagasper’s Eurovision successor for Rotterdam on 22 February. Now, Slovenian broadcaster RTV Slovenija has revealed the full results of EMA 2020. It has also revealed the full results of the EMA FREŠ competition, which started way back on 4 November with the final on 18 January.
EMA 2020 results
We already know a jury panel decided the two superfinalists, which consisted of former Eurovision representatives Darja Švajger (1995 and 1999), Nuša Derenda (2001) and Maja Keuc (2011). Eventual winner Ana Soklič came out on top of the juries’ ranking, with Lina Kuduzović in second just ahead of third-placed Parvani Violet.
In the two act superfinal, Ana’s 5,035 votes accounted towards 53.54% of the overall vote.

EMA FREŠ final results
Two of the twelve EMA 2020 finalists came from the EMA FREŠ competition. In the 18 January, one of the acts qualified by winning the televote, the other act qualified with the juries.
The three member jury panel for the EMA FREŠ final consisted of Urša Mihevc, Rok Ahačevčič and Jernej Vene.
Parvani Violet came out on top of the juries’ ranking with her entry “Cupid”.
With a total of 684 votes, Saška won the televote with her entry “Še kar lovim tvoj nasmeh”.

Epic failure
Ohhh, I’m so upset that Astrid was second with the jury in EMA Fres. They went with Parvani Violet, unbelievable. Somehow I have a feeling that if Astrid would have made it to EMA, at least Maja Keuc would vote for her and maybe slip into the super finale. Anyway, lost cause. I am completelly schocked how low they placed Manca Berlec 10-th (!!!) even below Simon V, Inmate, Saska. You would think that the three ladies would be unbiased and a bit more liberal (at least Maja Keuc and Nusa Derenda). Then again if Manca would get to the… Read more »

The jury results in the final were terrible. Apart from doing a good job with the winner, all the better song were in the bottom half of the results. >__<
Aww, seeing Parvani Violet so close makes it even more sad to me 🙁
I would have enjoyed Violet in the superfinal the song is so charming. Voda needs a revamp but its still a solid effort.
