Pabandom is Naujo 2021 Heat Two Acts

Lithuania’s search for its Eurovision 2021 act continues on Saturday. Ten acts will compete in the second heat, which has already been pre-recorded. But what five should progress to the semi-final?

Pabandom Is Naujo! 2021 — Heat Two

Lithuania is unique in that songs are released at the discretion of the competing acts and their teams. This means that we often don’t hear entries until the early rounds of the show air on television. This is the case for much of the Heat Two line-up.

At the time of writing, only five entries have been released publicly:

  • Rapolas “Degam”
  • Sunday Afternoon “Open”
  • Gabrielė Goštautaitė “Freedom”
  • Gebrasy “Where’d you wanna go?”
  • Evita Cololo “Be paslapčių”

Therefore, our poll is asking you which act you are most excited for and not who should win — because, of course, that’s impossible to say without hearing the songs. Use your best judgement and pick your favourites from the options below. Check out our Heat Two preview if you want to know more about each of the ten entries before casting your ballot.

You can vote for as many acts as you want, but you can only vote once. So, if you’re waiting for more songs to drop, it might be best to wait until later in the week before you make your final choice. Results will be published on Saturday morning, ahead of the show later in the evening.

Running Order

  1. UnoBand “Eisiu”
  2. Rapolas “Degam”
  3. Sunday Afternoon “Open”
  4. Aistė Brokenleg “Home”
  5. Cosmic Bride “Solitary Star”
  6. Norbertas “Man In Need”
  7. Gabrielė Goštautaitė “Freedom”
  8. Gebrasy “Where’d you wanna go?”
  9. Evita Cololo “Be paslapčių”
  10. Gabrielius Vagelis “My Guy”

Poll: Who are you most excited for in Heat Two of Pabandom Is Naujo! 2021?

Note, The Roop will also debut their 2021 entry “Discoteque” on Saturday. However, they are not competing in this heat as they have already been guaranteed a spot in the final. Therefore, they have not been included in this poll.

Gabrielius ofc. I hope he stops messing with the staging, he completely killed his own song last year. And yeah, the clothing is another hot topic. I don’t like what I see at all but at least it isn’t as weird as last year’s.

Huh. The title literally says nothing. “My guy” can be a friend, even a dog lol

”My guy” can be a friend, pet or a special someone. It can also be an inverse reference to himself, as in ”You used to call me – my guy”. We’ll have to wait and see. Knowing Gabrielius, he might have a good song.

I agree. Nobody has the chance against The Roop and I don’t know how I feel about it. On one hand, I am happy they’ll have the opportunity they should have had last year. On the other it feels… underwhelming. In Finland and Estonia, Aksel and Uku have actual competition and if they win again, it will feel like an actual victory. I am more than certain that people in Sweden will take this seriously as well. But this in Lithuania feels too inevitable for my taste. I mean, I still *am glad* that we have some songs to listen… Read more »

Of course, The Roop is the most awaited performance of the heat, but I’m always here for my guy Gabrielius Vagelis. Musically he’s usually in my alley, I just hope he gets the staging right this time.
