We’re set to get at least four new entries over the next seven days. But the week gone by was rather slower, with just Croatia selecting Albina and “Tick-Tock”. Nonetheless, there’s never a bad time to ask — who is your favourite Eurovision 2021 act so far?
Ukraine’s Go_A took gold in our last survey, but can they hold on in a more crowded field? You decide!
You can listen to Croatia below. Then vote in our poll. Choose wisely, you can only vote ONE time. Voting is open until Tuesday 16 February — the day on which Czech Republic’s Benny Cristo will release his song for 2021.
We will then relaunch the poll to include Benny’s entry and any other songs which might drop between now and then.
Eurovision 2021 entries as of 14 February
New entries
Croatia’s Albina with “Tick-Tock”
Eurovision 2016’s Nina Kraljić was the favourite in the days leading into Saturday’s Dora 2021 final, but in the end it was Albina that emerged victorious. She won over both the jury and the televote with her pop banger “Tick-Tock”. Fun-fact – one of the co-writers is Max Cinnamon, who fans might remember from France’s Destination Eurovision 2018.
Other entries
- Albania: Anxhela Peristeri “Karma”
- France: Barbara Pravi “Voila”
- Israel: Eden Alene “Set Me Free”
- Lithuania: The Roop “Discoteque”
- Ukraine: Go_A “SHUM”

Top 6:
This poll is a bad joke. In reality there´s no chance for the trash named “Tick-Tock”
Neither is there a chance for Ukraine.
Croatia ist very cheap and generic, sorry…
My ranking list so far
France 10/10
Lithuania 9/10
Ukraine 7/10
Albania 5/10
Israel 3/10
Croatia 1/10
For me right now it’s…
France is still my first. That live performance just gives me goosebumps. Croatia is an okay and rather nice dance song but not the best. I was left yearning for more but still very listenable. All the songs so far are so interesting to hear…I wouldn’t skip any of them and I actually enjoy them to an certain extent on each song.
BOT…Zagreb alert…no way s Croatia even gonna be top 10, perhaps a NQ…??
It will be a NQ because Azerbaijan and Cyprus will probably send similar songs.
I think that set me free is starting to become one of the underestimated songs this year.
Ofcourse the poll shows the favourites, so I can understand a low position there, it’s not my favourite either, Lithuania is, at this point.
But also on the eurovision Scoreboard app they are positioned at 5th of 6, leaving only Albania behind. And that surprises me, okay I get that it’s not feker libi, but who wants a copy?
It’s a more than decent song and it will finish at the left side of the table, guaranteed.
1) France
2) Ukraine
3) Croatia
4) Albania
5) Israel
6) Lithuania
1. Lithuania: Strong start, weaker finish. The instrumental is the star here, the lyrics pale; but it hooks you
2. France: gorgeous
3. Ukraine: Interesting, but I wouldn’t listen to it for fun. I liked Solovey better.
4. Albania: I think it’s beautiful
5.Israel: I don’t like it
6.Croatia: Nothing remarkable.
I was about to start watching his interviews but after his awful comments about Dotter and Sweden as a whole, paired with some low key homophobic comments on Patrik Jean’s staging during Alesia Michelle’s livestream, I changed my mind. Maybe he didn’t mean it like that but it really rubbed me the wrong way. I stopped watching because I’ve had enough of his condescending we-do-it-so-much-better attitude.
Lmao, how is Croatia first? It won’t qualify ahaha
It’s still Ukraine for me Followed by Lithuania closely behind. I’m glad to see Croatia finally enter something upbeat that isn’t weird/corny so I give them credit for that, but it’s still not enough for me and I can’t see it qualifying to be honest. 1. Ukraine 2. Lithuania — big gap — 3. Israel — big gap— 4. France 5. Croatia — big gap— 6. Albania My top will change over the next few weeks, like most people’s I am sure, when we start getting more countries and revamps of existing ones. Looking forward to seeing what Norway and… Read more »
And of course… the Wiwi jury has decided that Croatia, which picked a gay-bait bop and probably won’t make it to the final is first.
Ukraine,
Lithuania,
Croatia,
Albania,
Israel,
France
Checking the results and XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
The songs that will probably qualify for the final, in order of their success on the evening: 1 Lithuania 2 France 3 Croatia The others will probably be NQ’s. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lithuania made it to the Top 10. Success for France will depend on their position in the setlist: the later, the more successful. IMO Croatia will ultimately rank 15-20. So far I have heard only one real possible winner in several national finals. If chosen to represent their country in the finals, Keiino from Norway stands a good chance of taking home the trophy on the… Read more »
My top so far:-
1. Lithuania
2. Croatia
3. Ukraine
4. Israel
5. Albania
6. France
1. France
2. Croatia
3. Ukraine
4. Israel
5. Lithuania
6. Albania
Don’t compare that hideous song with Tick-Tock pls and Roko told his followers to go and vote…Albina did no such thing and yes maybe she doesn’t deserve to be number one but she is in top 3 of released songs nevertheless!
I agree that these songs should not be compared but Albina did Post the link on her story asking for her followers to vote….
Nina has a great voice and interesting song, but we allready seen such a thing. Albina was on Voice finale and I ‘m very happy she won Dora. Finnaly we have dance song.! Whole package! Many regards from Zagreb.
Croatia is the best !
Who are these negative down voters all the time? Pfff people have different opinions you know..
My favourite for now is Croatia & France, I dont like Lithuania & Ukraine, just not my cup of tea, overrated for me.
Absolutely
Especially Ukraine.
It’s…
France
Israel
Lithuania
Croatia
Albania
Ukraine
For me..
All six songs are merit-worthy, each one bringing something new, all the vocalists are great, huge potential for staging on all six… Wow! This Eurovision is so exciting! Norway, Finland, Estonia, Portugal and Sweden will be sending something guaranteed to be good too, that’s nearly 25% great music. ??
1) France
2) Albania
3) Ukraine
4) Israel
5) Croatia
6) Lithuania
All these songs will be in my top 20 at the VERY least. Can’t wait!
So far I’m for France, Israel and Ukraine…waiting for Australia, Russia and Romania. PS. I hope I wont offend anyone especially Croatian but they are on bloodbath first semis, among the songs already revealed there’s already potential smasher such Israel, Lithuania and Ukraine and knowing Sweden and Norway’s selection are also though plus a promising entry from Cyprus, Russia,Romania, Azerbaijan and Australia as a result I just foresee (sorry-just my opinion) Croatian entry is a cheap shot, if only Nina presented a new staging style she’s way better on vocals compare to Albina but sadly she was stuck to what… Read more »
still Lithuania and Ukraine.
France
Ukraine
Lithuania
Croatia/Albania
Israel
Aite, Imma be real quick here. With Discoteque you get a UNIQUE PERFORMANCE BABY. Name me another song that sounds similar to it? Please do? And now look at France, Ukraine, Croatia, look how many similar songs to them are there already. When May comes, Discoteque is going to bring a Top 5 finish baby. I hope to see them dancing alone on stage performing their song for the third time and closing the show. Out of all the national selections and chosen songs so far, they are undoubtedly the strongest.
So well put Jeremiah! Totally in agreement.
Discoteque might be unique, but it is simply the Occidentali’s Karma of this year. The Frebruary fan favourite and eventually ending up being 6th or something. Voila is this year’s Amar Pelos Dois (idk whether it will win like Amar Pelos Dois, but is surely gives similar vibes) so France will surely end up higher than Lithuania if not getting the win.
I did not enjoy Croatian song 🙁 Nothing special.
Going to be a decent croat and tell you that it’s ok if you don’t like it then you don’t and that’s ok..everyone has a right to their opinion! And that is the message for you my fellow croats…just if someone doesn’t like our song that doesn’t mean that you need to down vote everybody!! And Lithuania is the best one so far and for second place for me are France and my Croatia (yes i like my county’s song but i voted for Lithuania bc that is my Favorite so far)
All for France so far – wonderful stuff! The rest? Let’s just say I don’t care whether they reach the final or not!
My top 6 are
France
Lithuania
Ukraine
Croatia
Israel
Albania
I just wanted to add that from Croatia’s unlikely position on the top of the leaderboards and the aggressive downvoting of people who don’t put Croatia in their top 3, I can gather there is a cabal of Croatian fans active on the site today. To them I just want to say please don’t downvote people just because they don’t share your opinion. It’s really disrespectful.
It might fall on deaf ears, but as long as they are not rude, let the Croatians have this moment. They haven’t had a great Croatian Eurovision song to stan for a long time so this is special for them. I don’t know how far this song would go, but it could bring Croatia back in the final at the very least, depending on the competition and their performance on the night of the first semi-final. While I am still thumping for the Roop, Croatia is another country that has never won the Eurovision Song Contest before (at least as… Read more »
Im Croatian and I couldn’t agree more!!
my top 3 still the same, with no order:
Lithuania/France/Ukraine
I’ll just separate them in groups for now, because the distances are not that big inside of each one.
Great (1 to 3): France, Lithuania and Ukraine.
Fine (4 to 6): Albania, Croatia and Israel.
This second group is interesting, because each entry has an edge over the other 2. “Karma” sounds more organic and personal, “Tick-Tock” is more appealing and out of the comfort zone for their country and “Set Me Free” has much better production values.
Swap Ukraine with Croatia or Israel and I’ll agree.
My top 3 are:
1. Lithuania
2. Croatia
3. Israel
I am happy that Albina’s song has been received well. I’d place Voila, Discoteque and the current version of Shum ahead on my list so far, but I can definitely see Tick-Tock qualifying and even placing solidly on the left side of the scoreboard with the right staging. Who knows, maybe she goes even further? We are proud of you, Albina!
Overall, we have a strong pack of songs thus far.
Girl Albina Slay ????????
For me it’s:
At least for now. But I’m still waiting for something with “winner vibes” 🙂
Why is Ukraine on the list. They’ll have to remake the entire song.
I believe it will be mostly the same, but maybe we really have to wait for official esc version before put it on polls
Ukraine and Lithuania for me. Somehow I can’t connect with the French entry.
i make my party with shum in the discoteque. 🙂
little big?,disco iceland? and tartu from estonia may join them too.
Arff Jan Bors the justiciary….. lol ok
Im not that into any of the current songs. Im hopeful for the upcoming songs. The Czech song from the snippet it sounds like it will be easily my number one in a few days when it came out.
Albania and France are classy, the others are cheap.
France is class, for sure… but calling other cheap is act of stupidity not to say hate Next time, rather just wrote: Albania and France are classy.
1 – France
Lithuania
3 – Ukraine
4 – Israel
Croatia
Albania
I’m not sure if Ukraine should even be included, the song we actually get might be very different…
My top 6 so far:
Personally i disagree with your top but why are you getting downvoted for your opinion?? Why are people downvoting just because your favourite is someone else’s?
Anyone who puts France at top seems to be downvoted pathetic behaviour on here! It’s probably because it’s a beautiful song and not trash like Croatia and Israel with typical pop sounds.
Croatia is my new favourite. I think Albina got top ten potential.
At the very least, Croatia has never had a better chance to make the final in years. I wish them luck.
There’s only been two contests since their last qualification, it’s not really that long ago…
Believe10 – I wouldn’t say it is “Top 10 material” but it has a very high chance to get into the Grand Final.
my top 6
1. France
2. Lithuania
3. Croatia
4. Ukraine
5. Israel
6. Albania
swap lithuania and croatia and you got mine too 😀
Is it fair to say that we haven’t heard the winner yet?
We’ve got 35 songs to go
its too early
I have heard my winner 2021! It is THE ROOP – DISCOTEQUE.
The Roop is this year’s Francesco Gabbani.
Ukraine to win this year. I’m mesmerized by it.
