The third heat will see seven acts perform. As always, the semi-final results will be determined solely by the viewing public through a mixture of app and phone votes. There will be a short break in the vote at which point the two lowest acts will be eliminated. Voting will open once more, after which four entries will remain — the top two songs will go direct to the final while the next two will progress to the andra chansen round.
The running order is:
- Charlotte Perrelli “Still Young”
- Emil Assergård “Om allting skiter sig”
- Klara Hammarström “Beat of Broken Hearts”
- Mustasch “Contagious”
- Elisa “Den du är”
- Alvaro Estrella “Baila Baila”
- Tusse “Voices”
Christer Björkman is hosting all six episodes of Melfest 2021. He will be joined by a selection of different co-hosts throughout the series. Rapper and reggae artist Jason Diakité joins him for week three.
