Sanremo 2021: Annalisa “Dieci”
The flame-haired popstar is somewhat of a Sanremo veteran. This year sees her return to the Ligurian city for the fifth time with the aim of improving upon her third place finish in 2018 with “Il mondo prima di te”. She debuted in 2013, finishing ninth with “Scintille”. She competed at the festival on back-to-back occasions in 2015 and 2016, finishing fourth with “Una finestra tra le stelle” and eleventh with “Il diluvio universale” respectively.
What do the “Dieci” lyrics mean?
“Dieci” (Ten) tells the story of a love that does not want to end. It clings to the last moments, hoping that they actually are not the last. The pop song is filled with vivid images of a relationship in crisis, from “scenes in the flat” to “French kisses delivery”. The melody of the refrain is immediate: “I don’t come to my senses but don’t panic, look how it’s raining this Saturday”.
“Dieci” lyrics — Annalisa (Sanremo 2021)
Written and Composed by: Annalisa Scarrone, Davide Simonetta, Paolo Antonacci, and Jacopo Matteo Luca “Dargen” D’Amico.

What did I promise you I don’t know I can’t remember now Tell me what’s going on with you We’re inside the glaciers If it is easier, write to me If you think about it, you fall And it doesn’t have to be this way Look how hard it’s raining Coming home it’s cold And it’s raining And this house has But the last time is sacred They will still be needed Get dressed out of place And I like it when you overdo it And it doesn’t have to be this way Look how hard it’s raining It’s cold coming home And it’s raining And this house has But the last time is sacred They will still be needed Maybe I never told you I don’t come to my senses Look how hard it’s raining Coming home it’s cold And it’s raining And this house has But the last time is sacred They will still be needed |
What do you think of “Chiamami per nome” could it win Sanremo? Would it work at Eurovision? Comment below.
She won the demoscopic jury.
Worthy winner of a very drawn out average night.
amazing.. LOVE Annalisa!! Dieci superb!!!
At this moment, there have been 6 performances of San Remo and none of the songs were interesting. So far, last year’s San Remo is easily better. Hopefully Annalisa’s song will be good.
Will the songs be on Spotify tomorrow??
Yep 😉
