Azis and Grafa will appear at VICTORIA's Eurovision song reveal concert

On Wednesday 10 March, VICTORIA will announce her song Eurovision 2021 for Bulgaria in a special one-off concert. And now, the “Tears Getting Sober” hitmaker has revealed more details about the special event. A star studded lineup of some of Bulgaria’s biggest personalities will host the event and join VICTORIA for the big reveal.

Eurovision 2021 stars from all around Europe are also set to appear.

Bulgarian superstars to appear at VICTORIA’s special song reveal concert

The event produced by BNT, iCard and the Ligna Group is set to unite Bulgaria in a celebration of song. Producer Genoveva Hristova says:

“I am happy we managed to get on one stage some of the most popular faces in Bulgaria. Eurovision is project which gives access to a huge audience and I can categorically say that there is no better place to show that we are one. At the concert on 10 March actors, singers and many more popular faces will take part

Standout names in the lineup include popular Bulgarian stars Gerasim Georgiev-Gero, Vasil Vassilev-Zueka, Mihaela Fivela, Azis, DARA, Grafa, Alex Raeva and Lucy Diakovska.

Grafa is a household name in Bulgaria. To date, he has released eight studio albums. In 2008, he co-founded the music label Monte Music, and helped launch the careers of many successful Bulgarian artists. Additionally, he’s got some Eurovision experience. In 2016, Grafa co-wrote “Magical Day” for Lidia Ganeva, who represented Bulgaria at Junior Eurovision. The song finished in ninth place.

Meanwhile, Azis is well-known in Eastern Europe for his signature chalga style — a traditional Bulgarian pop-folk genre. In 2006, he travelled to Eurovision alongside Mariana Popova, providing backing vocals on her song “Let Me Cry”. Azis is a name often mentioned by Eurovision fans as one of the artists they would like to see represent the country.

Eager-eyed Eurovision fans might also recognise Lucy Diakovska. She’s part of the girl group No Angels, who represented Germany at Eurovision in 2008. Although Lucy only placed 23rd at the contest in Belgrade, she’s had an extremely successful career beyond Eurovision. With four number one hits, three number one albums and more than five million records sold, No Angels are one of the most successful female groups in German music history.

Many Eurovision 2021 stars will also appear at the concert. From Spain to Lithuania, they’ll join the show via video link. Artists such as Blas Cantó, The Roop, Jeangu Macrooy, Dadi Freyr and Hurricane will delight viewers with special video greetings.

VICTORIA’s Eurovision song will be revealed on 10 March

VICTORIA will present her song for Eurovision 2021 with a live concert on Wednesday 10 March. The concert will be broadcast on BNT 1 but will also be streamed live on VICTORIA’s YouTube channel. The show will commence at 21:00 CET.

As well as performing her Eurovision 2021 entry, VICTORIA will also perform the other tracks from a little dramatic, and “her biggest hits”.

VICTORIA was internally selected to sing “Tears Getting Sober” for Bulgaria at Eurovision 2020. Her song was a favourite with fans and bookmakers alike, who named it one of their top picks to win the competition and snatch Bulgaria their first ever Eurovision victory. Following the 2020 contest’s cancellation, BNT once again gave VICTORIA the ticket to Rotterdam.

What do you think? Who are you excited to see perform? Which song do you think VICTORIA has selected to sing at Eurovision 2021? Let us know in the comments below.

Ok but yall are complaining that she is treating this as a consert. It is! And you have to realize that eurovision isnt her goal or meaning!

I hope that “Dive Into Unknown” will be the song for Rotterdam.

Why do I have this feeling that Victoria instead of getting ready for Eurovision, looks more like getting ready for her own concert? So many songs, so much fuss and preparations… It looks odd to me.

Why are song reveals so tiresome this year? No hate, but Just release the song, we already heard them all.

Seeing the bitter comments from the usual Victoria haters, I’m just going to say that let me tell you right now you people are not going to get through her skin.
And also stop it! It’s the same old argument all over again and it’s getting annoying.

It will be pretty annoying if she doesn’t pick Imaginary Friend after having asked the fans for feedback. It’s clear the majority of people want that song so if she picks something else it was pretty pointless to ask in the first place

Are you talking about the Bulgarian artists?

You do realise that this song reveal concert is basically for the Bulgarian audience and not for you. Of course they’d have guests that are famous in Bulgaria, heck, I’m from Greece and I know at least 2 of them, actually I’m tempted to watch it just for Grafa.

So right now I think it wasn’t the best idea to send last year’s artists. They simply wasted last 12 months to create some last minute rushed songs, almost all of them. Maybe they didn’t feel competition on their back… It’s a shame as it’s shaping to be one of the poorest Eurovision comparing to the brilliant 2020 edition

You’re joking right? This year’s been pretty great I think. So far I enjoy nearly all the songs and that rarely happens

I love that some artists from this year will be attending, seeing the friendships formed from the contest is one of the best parts!

Realistically it’s probably part solidarity and part promotion—but yeah, it’s sweet 🙂

Imaginary Friend is clearly her best shot, as views and streams show. If she indeed picked Growing up is getting old… uff. Ok, nice song but not instant enough for the Eurovision public. Most voters will find it boring, I will expect a result similar to Lithuania 2018.
Imaginary Friend has top 6 potential

She wants to be important and i think its dumb of you to say that she cant have her consert because she is a singer. Thats what singers DO. If she isnt important, maybe this is good for her career. Also victoria is older then billie PLUS its just the same genre, not a copy.

”imaginary friend” or ”growing up is getting old”.

I think it is clear that the two main contenders are Growing Up is Getting Old and Imaginary Friends. I think both have their own appeal and will do great regardless of whichever they pick. Personally, my favorite is Growing Up because it gives me Tears Getting Sober vibes in the best way possible and has I think the best climax of the choices. Victoria even said they want to keep key staging elements of last year’s plan in this one, so that’s why I think it could be a good choice. That said, Imaginary Friend is a clear fan… Read more »

I hope it’s imaginary friend. I always thought it was a stunning song, but only now I have realized that it might even stand a chance at Bulgaria’s first victory – considering the level and styles of the songs released so far.
