National final season is officially over. And within the next few hours we will know all the songs for Eurovision 2021. But before the last entry drops, let’s check in on the results of our most recent “who is your favourite Eurovision 2021 act so far?” survey. And you have a new number one — Greece’s Stefania.

What do you think of the current standings? Does Greece deserve to be at number one? Let us know below.
It’s wild Sweden is being so hyped. That song has literally no message.
Azerbaijan and Cyprus are my faves! Omg! I cannot wait to watch the whole show! Greetings from Osnabrück, Germany!
Remember who is one of the songwriters, ARCADE group, with Anastasios Ramos one of its members. Be sure that in the future we might see him breaking the continious active record of a country sending only female singers in ESC. Last time Greece sent a Male artist (part of the group Argo) was 5 years ago, in 2016.
I won’t be shocked if he represents us in 2022
Be great to see Greece back in the top 10.
France, Azerbaijan, San Marino, Cyprus, Croatia, Moldova & Sweden are my TOPs!!! Good luck too all them.
The UK has a very good entry and if Europe does the right thing it will be Top 5.
Top 5 not likely but, left hand side if theres any justice absloutely, maybe possibly Top 10 which I hope is the case.
I live in UK and I’m not British, but I would love to be able to vote for it, because it’s really good. It’s the best UK entry for some time surely.
We all know everything will change during rehearsals.
Stefania is adorable and so funny! And very talented, lets not forget shes only 18!
Theres nothing wrong with her being #1, especially since she shared the poll.
Lets chill guys, just a poll!
Don’t understand all that hate from some people against some countries either because of jealousy or spite because their favourites might not make it high enough.. Let snot forget what happened when Fuego video clip came out, people here were slagging off Elena Fureira that song is generic blah blah blah blah, the betting odds that many of you refer to had her not qualifying and after 18th place.. And the rest is history.. Many congrats to Stefania and her song hope she gets definitely to top 10 and why not win it as well.. And haters will always be… Read more »
Stefania is the only top 10 act who posted the poll on her Instagram story
So the poll last year was fine here and the year before again fine and now Stefania is number 1 all of a sudden the poll is no good?? Come on guys grow up a little you sound like 10 year olds. People voted for it good for them.. Tomorrow if they vote for Malta, Moldova etc good for them too..
Not all of a sudden. I am just saying out that people were really quick to point out that Albina from Croatia posted the last poll on her Instagram story which made her number 1. It’s the same situation this time but with Stefania. Poll is not presenting the real situation well.
To the comments on Greek fans taking over the polls, Greece is in the middle of a political and social crisis right now, with the #metoo movement, police brutality etc. As a huge esc fan, and a part of fanclubs in Greece, we are no more than 200 people that we follow blogs and sites about Esc. So, these 2,4k votes, I am sure and I hope that they are coming from fans that placed Greece in their top10 or higher (the poll allows you to vote more than one). At the end of the day, during the shows these… Read more »
Exactly. Most of us hardcore fans don’t even have a friend to discuss this with, we are scattered lol. Personally I see this as a small escape from reality.
you can discuss with me pal 😀
Ayto pou prospathite na dimiourgisete kai na megalopoisete problimata, kai malista na ta diafimisete kai sto exwteriko, poly kourastiko re paidi mou.
This is not a greek medium so I will continue writing in English. If you are a greek citizen right now, and you are not, to say the least, worried about your future and what may comes, this is your fault. I am not “creating problems” as you mentioned. Sorry to bother your cloud, but now with all the arbitrariness here, merely noone will think of Eurovision and how to promote my entry. That was the point of my comment (no left agenda behind the meanings here) Your personal thought is not something I personally care at all. Have a… Read more »

No fanaticism from my part. Irony never helped anyone. 🙂 Goodbye
Such a shame Austria came second to last, it definitely didn’t deserve it. I think it will flop with the televote, but think it could do really well with the juries, don’t think it will be enough to qualify though. And that’s fine, I’m not sure it’s *that* good
EVERY year Wiwibloggs just omits certain countries in their coverage. Where is the reaction video to Austria?!? You react litterally to every fly that flies over from Sweden, Azerbaijan or Bulgaria! More balanced coverage would be nice.
They’ll eventually react to everything.. Give them a break, eurovision coverage isn’t their main job
If you have time to make 15 reaction videos about three countries before you make one at least about every participants then you need to sort your priorities. Besides: what is the main job of a eurovision blog other than eurovision coverage?
All songs are out and nothing screamed “instant winner” to me. I hope we can finally have an unpredictable Eurovision night, with a bunch of entries fighting for the trophy. The bookers will desperately try to reduce the competition to 2 or 3 songs, but I hope the audience doesn’t buy this narrative.
#EurovisionRoulette
Alea jacta est! (and there goes 1/3 of my Latin)
I would add other 2 factors. The first one is that we probably won’t have an audience or have a very reduced one and the national finals weren’t very clear about how this would affect the mood of some entries when performed in Eurovision. Maybe nothing will change, maybe some will seem out of place. And the second is that with maby artists selected a long time ago, I expect that many songs were developed along with the staging, which only reinforces the impression we won’t know anything for sure until the rehearsals. I’m excited about a few entries and… Read more »
Hi Tibor, I am curious to get to know your favourites. Maybe you have revealed them somewhere already.
If San Marino will compete with Flo Rida, they will win. It would be absolutely cool winner and unforgotable ESC moment. Great song by famous rapper for microstate. I cant see any other strong winner there. I love Finland but they wont have so huge support. Switzerland was better last year. Lithuania, Iceland and Bulgaria are not so strong this year. Russia has different act (and its great too, but not for winning). It will be interesting. And we have many different and good songs, it will be great edition. Lets hope with strong winner!
Much better than Greece.
Croatia is going to shock everyone when it doesn’t qualify….only in the euro fan bubble do people like it
Grecce is nothing special and so fake
fake is your face… look it in the mirror.. you will be scared.!!! Greek freak
Now that all the songs are out, I can categorize them as such:
1. Songs I have fallen in love with: Ukraine, Norway, Italy, Azerbaijan, Denmark, San Marino, Finland, Switzerland, Poland, Georgia
2. Songs which I very much like and would be happy with them winning: Romania, Ireland, Australia, Greece, UK, Russia, Cyprus, Estonia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia
3. Songs which are festering and on which I haven’t made my mind up: Moldova, Iceland, Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Czechia, Austria, Serbia, Belgium, Slovenia
4. Songs which just don’t do it for me: France, Malta, Spain, Israel, Croatia, Albania, Portugal, (Belarus), Germany
Thanks for the love to the UK.
Congrats, you like most worst songs.
I know! And actually it makes me happy! A part of me would hate to be so predictable.
I give 11/10 for Norway in first category 🙂
How can taste be good or bad, taste is subjective. Check down your ego a bit.
Gjon’s Tears (what a horrible made up stage name) is almost a carbon copy of Duncan this year. I liked his previous entry which was way more original, this one is overrated. Barbara deserves the trophy
People are giving too much importance to both these polls and the odds … we still have to see the stagings, and we all know that during rehearsal days odds tend to go up and down so, we still do not know what is going to happen!
Well, here’s how I feel it will go down. Switzerland will win ESC 2021, unless the staging is absolute TRASH I cannot see any country except Malta knocking Gjon off the path to victory, which includes winning the Jury in the semi and grand finals. The top 10 will go as follows. Malta San Marino Greece Russia Finland United Kingdom Lithuania Sweden Cyprus Alternates will include: Moldova Iceland France Ukraine Serbia Albania Germany or Spain will finish last. Most likely Spain, I cannot see any form of staging saving that song in any capacity. Do not understand the hype of… Read more »
So.. In your opinion.. Italy can’t win the competition? Or are you afraid to think that this is possible?
I find Finland way stronger than Italy, Måneskin just sounds like a sleazy wannabe rock band. It will do about as well as Italy 2014 IMO.
My personal winner considering musicality and feelings is Swiss entry. It tears me up. On the other hand, my guilty pleasure is San Marinese entry. It boosts my mood. It may be the mirror of jury/fan votes respectively. We can’t be sure about anything until we see the live performances.
Why do people think that this is really good for the uk? 2015 was the only worse one recently. 2014 was better 2016 was better 2017 was better 2018 was same quality and 2019 was better.
Does that mean you have horrible taste too? 😉
If that’s your taste then you should look at my top. I think you’ll like it 🙂 .
Gjon’s Tears is #2 in the poll with a ballad. How does that fit with your view?
To say your taste is more real life is a form of confirmation bias. Everyone has their own real life, neither more nor less. ESC fans are part of real life, even if they’re also a bubble and an echo chamber. I agree with you, though, that the nature of being a fan can make you so close to the subject that you lose perspective…which is also partly why some ESC fans are susceptible to PED.
Peoples ranking switzerland in their top 35 have crappy taste.
Odds say quite the opposite. Fool yourself by your multiple votes ?
Greeks broke the internet ????
With your ‘logic’ then Swiss and French people, Cypriots and people from San Marino broke the internet…
Greeks do not even care! They are throwing shade…
The Greek fans are relentless??
Man Greeks are going through difficult times right now. They don’t even care to esc anymore not to mention voting to fan polls.
Mpravo, kante ta panta gia na fanoume kakomoirides…
Switzerland overrated
My ranking:
2.Everyone else and it’s not even close
I know who is going to win guys, I saw the future. HAHA odds placing Gjon Tears first, a French song will never win Eurovision. Welcome to Vilnius 2022 guys, The Roop is winning this year. A catchy song, a catchy dance, a performance that is completely different to what has been last year. While other countries like Iceland, Switzerland, Bulgaria went the way of copying the 2020 entry, The Roop created something different. I already see juries giving Lithuania a solid 200 points and televoters 250. Now every conspiracy theorist go back to sleep, your Victoria or Chicken Goujon… Read more »
Downvotes are very welcome btw
Cmon guys, don’t be afraid to embrace the power of The Roop, they will blow your cheap milli vanilli-sounding pop off the stage in Rotterdam.
I don’t think many people really feel the need or desire to reply to a attention desperate troll that’s deluded.
yeah when you don’t like someone else’s opinion, just call them deluded, I hope you will come back to this comment in May
I agree that Switzerland’s and Bulgaria’s song have the same vibe as last year but so does Lithuania’s 🙂 and I’ll see you in Italy next year 😀
Hahaha this comment screams begging for attention
So if we take poll this into account, and guessing the response to the omitted songs (due to the Belarus debacle and those yet to be released by time of this poll), I’m confident the outcome could look like this: GRAND FINAL: Azerbaijan Bulgaria Croatia Cyprus Finland France Germany Greece Iceland Ireland Italy Latvia Lithuania Malta Moldova Netherlands Romania Russia San Marino Serbia Spain Sweden Switzerland Ukraine United Kingdom SF#1 NON QUALIFIERS: 11th – Australia 12th – Belgium 13th – Norway 14th – Israel 15th – Belarus 16th – Slovenia 17th – North Macedonia SF#2 NON QUALIFIERS: 11th – Albania… Read more »
You’re dumb if you think Albania aren’t qualifying given that there are juries. Songs like Georgia are often the “surprise qualifier”. Also, Belgium could well qualify if they stage it decently.
Albania won’t qualify even if the singer sells her soul to el diablo. She sealed her fate the moment she agreed to compete with this song.
It’s a wonderful ethnic sound that’s very emotional as well. If they qualified in 2019 then they’re definitely qualifying with this piece of art.
2019 was indeed a piece of art with a chilling melody and godly vocals. And they barely made it. Karma on the other hand is nowhere near that level. She won’t qualify.
Don’t forget Australia…juries love Australia, and the song has very fresh vibe..if her stage is awful, only then it won’t qualify
Yep.
Or maybe it’s actually you that is dumb for not reading that this was based on what this poll said as opposed to my personal preference or insight.
I don’t think a website poll for the most hardcore eurofans is the most accurate representation of what’ll happen at Eurovision. Also Albania are literally in the final in the poll so what’s your point?
My point is if you actually read it in context, you might not have tried to come across so rude
Oh sorry if I came across as rude, didn’t mean it. The you’re dumb part is just like casual conversation language for me, sorry if it offended you.
Fair enough. On that, I apologise too.
Personally I like Albania’s entry. The only reason it went further down is purely because I predicted had Azerbaijan and Malta both been in the poll (purely the poll here), they would roundabout have the same amount of fans as their acts had in 2020 and I think the votes would have reflected that.
For clarification though, this poll is way off what I would personally predict, I was just having a little fun with what the article was about.
Well, according to your ranking Albania is 10th, because there are just 17 countries competing (you have included 25 countries in the final while 26 reach it)
Very true, I didn’t do a final count, smh
Do you honestly believe that all the up tempo songs are gonna make it to final? No, they won’t!
My ranking: 1. Spain (10/10 beautiful, emotional) 2. Bulgaria (10 relatable, vulnerable, atmospheric) 3. Greece (9.7 Stefania is Stefania) 4. Switzerland (9.3 love the high notes) 5. Azerbaijan (9 ethnic bop) 6. Cyprus (9 classic cyprus, brilliant) 7. Albania (8.7 this was eighteenth in my previous ranking…love the ethnic parts) 8. Croatia (8.5 gets stuck in your head) 9. Serbia (8.5 great potential for staging) 10. Georgia (8.1 calming, soothing) 11. France (8.1 elegant, classy) 12. Moldova (8 fun) 13. Romania (7.5 I like the verses better than the chorus) 14. Norway (7.5 better in norwegian) 15. Germany (7.5 colourful,… Read more »
Why do my tops always get the most downvotes lol? Is it because of Finland or what?
lol, it’s obviously for voque qunuenramde or whatever that song is called
It’s because you like Spain, darling… apparently nobody can like it enough to have it as number one 🙂
So happy to see my country (UK) not at the very bottom for once
He is fantastic
It seems like an exciting year for countries that haven’t been top 5 recently!
But it will be in may , don’t be delusional
And I will pretend I am a penguin that lives in Neptune’s moon Triton.
Triton isn’t really Neptune’s moon. It is a rogue moon that got caught in Neptune’s gravity. Ooo I sense an idea for a song.
Lol, where did Croats go this week?
They moved to Greece.
As usual voting for other countries like more than 1000 non Croats vote for Croatia!
For those who are complaining about Stefania, just to clarify that Stefania has a strong Dutch fanbase voting for her massively. I guess that’s why she is in the first place.
I guess sharing the poll on instagram also helps..
Albina did the same thing with her fans, thus why Croatia was on top for so long
Well then probably the results are not very accurate. Removing Greece from the top we will get the following:
1. Swiss
2. Cyprus
3. San Marino
4. Lithuania
5. Romania
I wonder how many people does Eurovision attract outside of Eurofans on youtube and wiwi and how accurate these results are.
Is it forbidden to share the poll? Dont get this narrative?
Everybody does that.
I guess albina didn’t share the poll this time
Wait she shares the polls? Where?
Stefania shared the poll this time. That’s why shes number 1…
Even though Greece won’t be in the top 5 this year nor is Last Chance my favorite, Stefania deserves to win the poll of this week. Last Dance is a good entry no matter how high it will end (Even if it somehow ends up being last).
I’m glad Switzerland is runner up in this poll, Gjon’s Tears is my favorite.
As how I see it, Elena Tsagrinou is definitely this year’s female version of Imri Ziv or Hovig.
Interesting results, especially when we compare them to the odds. Some may not agree but I feel that we do not have a clear winner this year. It seems to me that some entries are being completely overlooked by the fandom and can surprise us on stage.
Pains me to say , since none of these I like, but I think it is going to be between Swiss, France, San Marino and Cyprus.
and now that we know Malta, I think Malta will be a contender as well. Although I actually like all the songs you just listed, except Switzerland’s
