Ten countries took to the stage of Rotterdam Ahoy arena to have their second rehearsal on 13 May. Destiny showed us a costume change, Stefania ironed out her green-screen glitches, Hurricane blew us all away, and that’s just a sample.
After reading the reviews from the press and watching the official rehearsal clips, we asked you to vote for which act you thought delivered the best second rehearsal out of these ten countries.

Stefania delivered your favourite second rehearsal on 13 May
Coming out on top is Stefania, just like she did in her first rehearsal poll. The star representing Greece earned 766 votes, which is 22.16% of the total.
We got to see a bit more of Stefania’s green screen tricks in this second rehearsal and her partly invisible dancers. These were the thoughts of wiwiblogger Padraig upon seeing Greece’s second rehearsal:
“Technically, this was a much better rehearsal for Greece. All the glitches seem to have been ironed out. Mercifully, Stefania’s midriff remains intact for the entirety of the performance. It’s all coming together in terms of choreo and vocals. However, there are movements of uncertainty in Stefania’s eyes. She’s not owning the stage quite yet.”
Second place in the poll goes to Malta’s Destiny, who picks up 671 votes (19.42%) for her performance of “Je Me Casse”. She decided to switch her wardrobe up for this second rehearsal and wore a sparkly silver dress (though kept the thigh-high pink boots from the first rehearsal). This change seems to have been a good one according to you, as it helped Destiny climb in the daily rehearsal poll after placing fifth following her first rehearsal.
The bronze medal goes to Daði og Gagnamagnið of Iceland. The group bring their quirky geek-chic charm to Eurovision thanks to their entry “10 Years”. Their visuals are filled with characters from their mobile game Think About Aliens and the group deliver a fun performance that keeps viewers entertained throughout. In the poll, Daði og Gagnamagnið earned 627 votes (18.14%).
Storming into fourth place are Hurricane from Serbia. The trio bring a full-on performance to the contest and they’ve been rewarded for it with 604 votes (17.48%).
Rounding out the top five is San Marino’s Senhit. While a certain rapper by the name of Flo Rida is still not present, that hasn’t stopped the Freaky Queen from turning heads herself. Senhit received 339 votes (9.81%).

Stefania’s song is really great. it sounds very 80s and at the same time it’s ultra modern, and she brings all the freshness of her youth. BUT this staging and these costumes, really, no. If they had stayed in a style similar to that of the music video she would have had every chance, but this choice doesn’t really put the whole thing in value.
I am still waiting for the light to shine to the moon and back!
I want to tell you because I am from Greece and I know more or less what the Greek participation will do and I have seen some plans, it is not as cheap as you say. And do not forget that everyone’s the Greek team takes a risk because after many years it wants to be in again in the top ten and you sit and judge a rehearsal as the word REVIEW says it that are done precisely to correct mistakes that may have occurred. now that I do not like what they do in every Greek mission I… Read more »

Oh come on Stefania/Greece don’t be a dick to the audiences on the arena…
I saw the Brit/Grammys/MTV acts and they are all so well choreographed and staged but for some reason Eurovision has to be full LED and graphics all over the place….
I think Stefania may share Benjamin Ingrosso fate as in people would not respond to watching a videoclip.

During the first rehearsal, I was watching the Wiwibloggs livestream and I can remember fans being mad at Esma, who said that the Greek staging looked cheap in her opinion. I know what she meant now and I kinda agree. This green screen effect looks dated to me, like something taken out of a 80s/90s video, but not in a good “retro-nostalgia” way. But I’m just judging a very short rehearsal snippet, so it might look completely different next week.
Imo the only thing that matters is the whole package behind it and I heard somewhere that there will be a Sergey-Lazarev kind of wall but not exactly

Y’all need to realize that no matter how much you hype your entry in the end it’s not you who decide and neither is this the final outcome so just… y’know, take it easy for once
Karma (not the Albanian entry) can be really nasty sometimes, remember how much everybody loved Mei Feingold’s song, staging, choreography etc. and it failed to qualify (I don’t think Greece will suffer that fate) but I can see the outcome being a disappointment, and maybe more so with all the hype because we’re all the more critical.
I’m sorry, but the hyped staging for Greece looks actually rather cheap… I expected something wow, but this is…meh.
Sergey was also getting a lot of hate in this website (still remember people calling him here useless when he fell from the wall in a rehearsal), but that was a moment for eurovision. Stefania has the potential to be the Sergey of 2021 but these effects are much more difficult to implement. Even if it works or not I appreciate that they try to present something new and take the contest a step further

Invisible man “aka” hologram is soooooo badly executed and looks very weird..
The channel intentionally doesn’t share the best moments of the performances for the exact reason to get fans excited to see it when it actually airs which is what you mentioned. That wasn’t just the case for Stefania and Greece but many of the other performances as well. Malta, Iceland, San Marino, and Cyprus, among others, were the same way and they want you to be wowed on Tuesday and Thursday. Everything will be worth the wait!
I hope what you say is true because the snippet was over disappointing. I want the performance to be as good as Stefania’s beautiful voice !
I’m sure she has a beautiful voice but would be difficult to tell about that, as most of the song has pre-recorded vocals. One can barely hear her.
