Eurovision 2021 Semi-Final Two Songs

Eurovision returned with a glittery bang on Tuesday night. And the fun and madness continues with semi-final two on Thursday 20 May. Here’s what you can expect and, most importantly, how you can tune in and watch the show.

Watch Eurovision 2021 second semi-final

Time: 21:00 CEST on Thursday 20 May

Check your local listings for the correct time in your timezone.

Eurovision 2021 semi-final two — YouTube

As has been the case for the past several years, the second semi-final of Eurovision 2021 will be live-streamed on the official Eurovision YouTube channel. This stream will not contain commentary or voting numbers. It is available worldwide except in Australia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States. Viewers in the first six countries will be easily able to watch the contest via alternative sources listed further down this page. However, there is a new option available for those in the United States.

Eurovision 2021 semi-final two — United States of America (USA)

In a new deal for 2021, American viewers will be able to watch the show live on the Peacock streaming platform. The show will air at 15:00 New York time or 12:00 in Los Angeles.

Alternatively, U.S viewers can try their look with some of the participating broadcasters. For instance, Germany’s ARD/NDR has already published details of a communal viewing experience which will not be geo-blocked. The downside to this option is that you may have to listen to commentary in a language that you do not speak.

Eurovision 2021 on Television and Radio

Of course, Eurovision 2021 will air live on all 39 competing broadcasters — although some countries may air the semi-final in which they are not voting in on delay. As well as TV, many will also stream the shows on their websites. Several will simulcast on radio too. The competing networks are listed below.

Click the links to visit the individual broadcaster website and check their listings.

Albania – RTSH Estonia – ERR Latvia – LTV Russia – C1R
Australia – SBS Finland – YLE Lithuania – LRT San Marino – RTV
Austria – ORF France – FT Malta – PBS Serbia – RTS

Cyprus – CyBC Ireland – RTE Poland – TVP Ukraine – UA:PBC
Czech Republic 1 CT Israel – IPBC/Kan Portugal – RTP United Kingdom – BBC
Denmark – DR Italy – RAI Romania – TVR

The contest will also be shown by broadcasters in non-competing countries, including Canada and Kazakhstan.

Eurovision 2021 Second semi-final: What to expect

Why can’t I watch it from YouTube?(I’m from the UK). I’m missing out on so much that is happening on the green room. Will I be able to watch the final from YouTube?

Tonight an amazing show waits for us! For me, there will be less surprises compared to SF-1. There are so many emotional songs and uptempo bops as well. No matter what, Eurovision soul is everywhere again. My personal qualifiers in random order: San Marino – A great and appealing opening Greece – Unusual staging with trend pop Finland – The most different in this heat Bulgaria – Still fan favorite and tons of emotions Serbia – Energy that we all need Iceland – Sympathetic nerds and good music Switzerland – A total package of what an ESC song is Portugal… Read more »

I have a feeling that Finland could sort of surprise like Ukraine did in SF1. Such a standout from the rest!

You’re right, we don’t know yet but the odds and iTunes charts indicate that Ukraine probably did well (although this is not certain).

I couldn’t find the YouTube livestream (don’t have TV license license I couldn’t watch BBC) so instead I ended up watching SVT (Swedish broadcaster) for semi 1. The quality is good plus the commentators spoke about each act and song extensively, no silly random narration.

after last night’s jury show, Switzerland has dropped from 16-1 to 8-1 and is falling further . extraordinary roar at the end of his song from the Ahoy arena. Now overtaken Ukraine in the markets and by 10.15pm we will have a four horse race. Just shows you the idiocy of judging a song by a few hands moves on a short video clip!!

My knowledge is excellent, in 2018, Belgium was also the bookies favorite later it became a shocking NQ. I am worried at the same thing might happen to Iceland as it being bookies favorite became shocking NQ, if their quarantine affects their results!!! 🙁

Belgium was later an NQ according to the bookies after the staging became known, so Iceland will have absolutely no problem qualifying

Not sure if you’re referring to his comments about Tusse or his comments criticising Wiwibloggs – but I guess it was only a matter of time, to quote Sennek. My view is similar to what Sabrina and others have said, that Bean could be witty with his cynicisms but he could also be unnecessarily and deeply cruel, abrasive, and offensive to both contestants and other fans.

I doubt it would be just ‘one’ comment, though, that would have led to his removal, if that’s what happened. As someone else suggested, maybe he removed himself.
