Poland's Ochman confirmed for London Eurovision Party

In May, he’s off to sing “River” for Poland in Turin. But first, Ochman is making a quick stop off at the Thames. We’re pleased to announce Poland’s Ochman as our next confirmed act for the London Eurovision Party 2022

On Sunday 3 April, Eurovision 2022 fan favourite Ochman will sing his Eurovision 2022 track “River” live at London’s Hard Rock Hotel for UK’s biggest and best Eurovision party.

Ochman earned the right to represent Poland at Eurovision after winning Tu bije serce Europy! earlier this year.

London Eurovision Party 2022

The London Eurovision Party will take place on Sunday 3 April.

The long-running Eurovision promotional event returns after a two-year hiatus to celebrate the stars of Eurovision 2022. As ever, contestants from the current edition of the song contest, along with some surprises from yesteryear, will travel to the British capital from around the continent to showcase their songs in front of international media and some of the contest’s biggest fans.

This year’s event will take place inside the glamorous Hard Rock Hotel — just steps away from Hyde Park.

Poland’s Ochman is the latest act confirmed to appear at the long-running British warm-up show. Hosted by Eurovision alumnus SuRie and radio presenter Paddy O’Connell, the greats of Eurovision past and present will converge in what promises to be an unforgettable night of celebration.

The lineup so far includes:

  • 🇮🇪 Brooke (Ireland 2022)
  • 🇧🇬 Intelligent Music Project (Bulgaria 2022)
  • 🇧🇬 VICTORIA (Bulgaria 2020, 2021)
  • 🇲🇰 Eye Cue (North Macedonia 2018)
  • 🇨🇿 We Are Domi (Czech Republic 2022)
  • 🇵🇱 Ochman (Poland 2022)

There are lots of surprises yet to be announced, so stay tuned to wiwibloggs to find who else will be joining the lineup!

Tickets are available to purchase now via TicketWeb.

Unrelated but an article from “Talent Recap” says London Grammar represents the UK at Eurovision with “Turn back time”. It’s from yesterday though so I find it weird that it was not relayed anywhere else. If it’s true, it’s awesome news!

I noticed they started redirecting the link to another piece of news since I posted it earlier, but Google never forgets.

I’d hold out before making such statements, London Grammar is signed with TaP so them participating is actually plausible

Off-topic: The full list of American Song Contest participants has been announced, and there are quite a few established names in the mix: Michael Bolton and Macy Gray will be competing for their respective native states of Connecticut and Ohio, while Jewel will be representing Alaska, where she was raised. Thoughts?

Best name on that list is Jordan Smith for Kentucky. He was amazing on The Voice and wrote “Ashes” for Celine Dion.

Second top story, with a large American Song Contest logo right above the headline. There’s no mistaking it.

This song is still in my top 3.
Any news when Sam Ryder’s Space man will be confirmed as the UK entry?

Hope he steps up his stage presence compared to that national final performance, otherwise he will blend in with the wallpaper.

It will be very interesting to see Ireland live because the studio cut isn’t bad but I heard her live and it was very weak.

Just what I was thinking. I reckon we are leaving it as long as possible just in case the show is postponed and we don’t need to give the big reveal embarrassment To be honest I never liked Sophie Ellis Bexter anyway. Stick with your disco in the kitchen.
