Well… think that “pleasing” the public does not include changing the song they ultimately voted for. This is unfair to the artist who won, as if saying “your song was not good enough”, and also to other contestants of the national final… Emma has a lovely voice, and I am sure she will deliver a great performance, but everything is just kind of sad, really.

This is where the excuse of ‘trying to please the fans’ although it was an interesting idea since Out of Sight was at the bottom of most people’s lists, it ended up backfiring because 1) You could argue the song is worse, since it’s generic, not written by Muscat and doesn’t represent her very well despite the title. It was not written by or even for her! 2) Out of Sight had already been chosen in a national selection. What was the point in all of that hastle if Out of Sight WASN’T going to Turin?
