If I hear that baby bop nonsense from Ireland one more time – the panel on the Irish selection were correct – it’s a load of pants and should never been selected – it will definitely crash out – 1980s rubbish like something uk would send in then ? And wait why isn’t that a surprise ??

I was vibing so hard to Llamame that night I didn’t even notice wrs was lip-synching. I thought it was an echo on the mic. Only after reading the comments I rewatched the performance and it seems true 🙁 Shame, since song-wise it’s my favourite by far out of these 11. Well then, judging the vocals, Emma Muscat was the best hands down. My early choice for The Best Female Vocals Award after ESC. And I also absolutely love her song btw.

I don’t understand how people even vote for norway and romania while they are clearly playback ? like it’s not about your favorites or your country but about the best performance that includes singing live and yeah they can do it but they didn’t there so why are people voting for them ?

She had lost a passport while traveling to Portugal, so made up looks was the least of her worries :/

Emma, threw out her earpiece at the start and kept on slaying like a pro, impressive

I also prefer her live vocals to studio vocals for this wonderful feel good bop

Monika a good 3rd

Same! Chanel was good as usually, Ronela was FABULOUS considering she was without dancers, Monika and Emma had the best vocals!

I love Chanel, but if I have to compare the performances, Ronela managed to electrilize the audience just by herself, no dancers nothing. So, Ronela definitely gave the best performance in Barcelona. I want Chanel and Ronela in TOP5 this year, the only two real bangers.

Subwoolfer and WRS were singing on playback, if I’m not mistaken. However, Subwoolfer have proven themselves to be excellent singers twice in their national finals.
Chanel, Ronela, Emma, and Monika were amazing on stage. Not a fan of Emma’s song, but with these vocals, she’ll definitely impress the jury. Monika is mesmerizing. Both banger divas are just slaying on stage. I am especially always in awe with Chanel.
Vocal flaws were mostly exposed with Vladana, even if Brooke and Dominika also had them. Perhaps it was technical issues, and the next time everything will be fine?

No chance that Montenegro will qualify.

Something was off during the sound mix. I’d say the reverb is to high.

Albania, Spain, Malta, Lithuania and Norway were amazing. The others were weak and they don’t stand a chance to qualify. I don’t believe in technical issues, I only see weak live vocals.

The lyrics weren’t that bad.

You can tell it’s not written in english, just translated.

I appreciate the sentiment behind the song (anti-Covid prayer), but the lyrics at times feel too literal (The air is what I breathe – I mean, yeah…). Unless there were technical issues (and we’ll see that when her next live comes), this is possibly a case of someone who has great vocal abilities, but unrehearsed control over them.

They all had sound problems of some sort. This ain’t fair.

In my opinion, Malta sounded the best, and I actually don’t even really like the song. But her performance was the best of the night. Greetings from Romania.

Llameme is going to go bang on stage in Turin. I predict it will do super-well with the televote. Just not sure how the juries will treat it. WRS is perfect for the vibe of the song.

I love Ronela! Chanel was good too, but Ronela managed without any dancers! Monika was also amazing! Even though Sentimentai isn’t my type of music, the performance was FABULOUS!

Ronela no doubt! She rocked the stage with no dancers. Sounded great despite sound problems. Everyone was dancing and singing with her. Just amazing.

SloMo is normally not my type of music but I am OBSESSED with all of Chanel’s performances. She’s incredible, I can’t wait to see her perform in the final.

Chanel easily gave the best performance. Spain look on course for an amazing result in the GF.

Monika was the biggest grower for me, great to see her rock the stage—she oozed confidence and experience.
