It’s still early in the day, but we’re already done with the Eurovision 2022 second rehearsals for semi-final one. Armenia’s Rosa Linn brought them to a close with her run through for “Snap”. How did she get on? Let’s find out…
Armenia’s Rosa Linn “Snap” — Eurovision 2022 second rehearsal
Padraig: Some countries bring everything but the kitchen sink to the Eurovision stage. But not Rosa Linn. She’s brought her bedroom. But it’s not a typical bedroom. The bed, the armchair and the walls all appear to be made of sheets of paper. We start with Rosa Linn sitting at the edge of the bed, strumming her guitar. As the performance progresses, she rips pages off the wall to reveal key lyrics from the song. This culminates in her ripping a huge hole in the wall and stepping out to the front of the stage. The setup is a stroke of luck for Armenia. The close camera shots and the standalone bedroom mean that the rainbow of death is completely cut out. Of all the first semi-final acts, it’s probably the one least affected by the malfunctioning prop. As for Rosa Linn, she delivers the song with a calm confidence, winning over the audience with her endearing girl next door charm.

When I see this show, all I can think of is tacky decoration stickers…
What is “June 22” supposed to mean?
This has really grown on me – it feels very current. i agree with other comments and the outfit needs sorting but this deserves to qualify
One of my favorites of the year, it’s such a relatable and heartfelt song! I hope it qs
She is absolutely lovely indeed and her song suits it perfectly. Might even be a dark horse. Yet, her outfit appears to be a bit of an unfortunate choice when she’s standing. And I didn’t get that impression from the outfit she wore during her Vienna street gig, so I assume it should be easy to fix.
She is very lovely
I think there’s a good idea in this staging but I feel like it’s missing something? But it’s still a qualifier in my eyes.
I still don’t love this staging/set and the song feels like it’s missing a another gear. I think it would’ve benefited from a more SAY YES staging. I still prefer it to Croatia and can see it have the edge there. But lots of women with guitars in this semi that probably eat up each other’s votes
I don’t know how to feel about the staging , but Rosa Linn is outstanding. I love the song and her vocals, a definite q for sure
Like the song, really don’t like the staging one bit
Looked better on the photos.
I’m not a big fan of the song but was a big fan of how Rosa-Linn performed in the pre-parties. However, I don’t know about this staging. It seems like a better idea on paper (lol) than it is in reality, as it just doesn’t look that…good. It’s a little cheap.
I don’t know about the white wardrobe choices going with the entirely white staging. It might just be me though. Good luck to Armenia, regardless!
I like this song , I hope she will go to the final
Such a beautiful, simple song is portayed so perfectly through its staging. Armenia is in my top 10 for this year, Idc. Rosa Linn’s first attempt at the big stage (and what a stage) will be 100x better executed than some of the proffesionals in the contest. <3
It’s such a heartfelt song. The last bit of the performance when she rips the wall and see the whole arena would be so emotional I feel.
Can’t wait to see this! It’s going to be a real dark horse this year. Also one of my biggest grower this year!
