She’s the Armenian singer who recently released “WDIA (Would Do It Again)” — a collaboration with Eurovision 2019 winner Duncan Laurence. And now Rosa Linn has kept the momentum going by performing her song “SNAP” on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Halloween did not give our girl a fright. Instead she dazzled on the famous American talk show, which airs on CBS and includes music performances, sketches and games. Monday’s edition also welcomed the American actors Kerry Washington and Paul Feig.

During the show, Rosa delivered a flawless acoustic version of her viral song. Some
traditional Armenian performers joined her on stage playing various musical instruments that are important to Armenia’s musical culture.

The cozy performance made Rosa’s vocals sound extra emotional. This may stem from the use of the traditional instruments, which very clearly helped Rosa tap into her own heart through her homeland. That brought a certain authenticity to the performance. Rosa shined in an all-black outfit that matched perfectly with her black guitar.

The audience gave Rosa Linn love and she fed it right back on Instagram, writing: “What an honor! What a dream come true! Had a blast performing my song and sharing a bit of Armenian culture on The Late Late Show with James Corden. LOVE AND PEACE!”

Ahead of the show, Rosa Linn posted a TikTok that mentioned how she used to watch her favourite artists performing on The Late Late Show and how enthusiastic she is to be taking a turn on that same stage.

So what do you think? Do you like this acoustic version with Armenian influences? Let us know in the comments box down below!

You haters need to f**k off. Give the girl her props. She is really good. Even if she only has one hit, that is one more than you will ever have. Nice sound Rosa. Keep rockin’.

She should start focusing on new things, I’ve seen people just talking about her as the Snap singer. It’s not a good sign.

Her success is truly inspiring. She came from a small town in Armenia with little name recognition and yet here she is today we new wins every day. I love her story. I love the fact that she dreamed and made it happen. I also love the fact that she seems like a very kind and humble human being.

I hope Nanne makes it to the show before Mr. Corden is sent back to the UK.

Snap this and Snap that, is her career going to rely solely on one song? Soon there’s another one hit wonder coming and no one will remember her.

Well if Rosa will have 1 hit, it will be a hit she wrote and created unlike Azeri artists who for decades relied on Swedes, Greeks and the Dutch to write and compose songs for them and none of them became hits outside of the eurovision glitter bubble. So go eat your heart out.

She created it with five other people and didn’t do that well at Eurovision, I’m surprised of your hate on Eurovision fans by dismissing our liking of the contest and making us all feel small and useless.

I mean you basically called Rosa Linn a “one-hit wonder” even though it’s only been half a year since the contest ended. To expect any artist to pump out hits left and right in only six months is ridiculous. It seems to me you were demeaning Rosa’s success and making her seem, as you put it, “small and useless.”

She actually wrote the whole thing herself. The others were involved in the production thus they got credits.

Also, nice try with the victim card. But what I wanna know is if you ate your heart out…

I don’t work as a singer, neither will Rosa if she keeps going like this.

This was the same person who said Armenia would not be able to return to ESC and JESC for many years after the defeat in the Karabagh war. Meanwhile, Armenia won JESC in 2021 and will be hosting it this year and Rosa’s song has become third most streamed and second most charting song in Eurovision HISTORY.

Please stop singing SNAP you will become like GAYLE who sang ABCDEFU. Yes we know this is a popular song and congratulations for that success but Columbia Records aren’t promoting your new song and it’s flopping.

Correct but Columbia Records need to promote her as an artist not the girl who sings the SNAP song otherwise noone will be interested in her album when it comes out.

She’s doing what Duncan Laurence did with “Arcade” last year. Hanging around the bottom of the Billboard Hot 100(currently at # 93) and building more radio airplay in the Contemporary Hit Radio & Alternative Radio areas. In fact,”Snap” has been #1 on Billboard’s Triple AAA songs chart for the past three weeks.

Can’t we just let her enjoy this great time of her life, instead of being all snappy about her career planning?

Columbia got WDIA added to SiriusXM Hits 1, their big Top 40 radio station, and Snap is also on their playlist. WDIA was also on a lot of new music playlists on Spotify. Her label is trying, but the issue is few non-Eurofans will seek out a Rosa Linn/Duncan song solely because it’s them.

If had done that staging and arrangement in Eurovision, she would have finished in a better position . Happy for her success, love that song .

Nah…Eurovision fans and juries were not interested in the song from the get-go. They did great with the staging and the performance at Eurovision. Shame!

I dont think so. The song is good but very very radio friendly, not eurovision stunning. And that s totally fine !

There’s nothing to ‘survive’ when Taylor is dominating the charts above her.

What I meant is that she’s still on the charts despite the album bomb, many songs that were in a similar or even higher position last week are gone
Ps: I know it’s not mandatory to comment every post, tho. I just try sometimes bc I want to improve my communication skills, which were quite lacking when I started to comment here :/

I like that “simple” staging much better than the paper house.
