i might be in the minority, but i really like this selection. i’d be more than happy with any of the poll’s top three winning.

I think the problem with this selection wasn’t the songs themselves, but how they were first presented so sloppily at the beginning. That was really disgraceful. I hope that never happens again.

I actually quite like the Romanian selection. Statues, Puppet, Bla Bla Bla, DGT, Bad and Cool are all songs I enjoy listening to and wouldn’t mind seeing on the big stage.
Having said that, Perinita Mea is definitely NOT one of them.

Absolute and utter mess of a horror selection that’s down there with the other hopeless ones like Malta and San Marino. Not masochistic enough to even bother following or voting like I somehow did last year.

Nobody needs this kind of cheap music. Only drunk people at a wedding party can enjoy this song.

Perinita Mea is not manele tho? In case I got your comment right? Aren’t you able to distinguish between manele and folklore?

The problem with Romania this year is that there isn’t a song in the national final that you can point to and confidently say that it’ll qualify for the grand final at Eurovision. I don’t think Romania are doomed to NQ because I do think there is qualification potential but I don’t know which one would be the best.

You also don’t know what other songs Romania will be competing against in semifinal two. Depending on what they pick, it could stand out enough to make the final, or it could be doomed to stay behind but that’s only depending on what’s around it.

Hearing them all live and in studio versions I think that they actually have very solid songs in there – Bad & Cool, DGT, Puppet, Bla Bla Bla, even Statues (if he brushes up his vocals). Perinica mea is a competitive song, as Moldova has proven in 2022, and I do believe that it would give Romania a qualification and a decent score. However, it would likely be my personal last place, as I really don’t like anything about it. Sorry.

Theodor Andrei – D.G.T. is my favorite. I really like his voice and presence. The song is playful, powerful and energetic. Cant wait to see him perform with staging tomorrow and wishing him and all other contestants good luck.

I’d be happy if D.G.T, Perinita Mea or Lele win. Just please let it not be Statues or Bla bla bla. How good the performance is doesn’t matter – these songs just have zero possibility of qualifying at Eurovision. They are very generic radio songs, those don’t tend to do that well.

My top 5 :

1. Amia
2. Andreea D Folchor Orchestra
3. Aledaida
4. Theodor Andrei
5. Gabriella, Formatia Albatros

Yeahhh Andreea D Folchor Orchestra for a New success like Moldova last year !

Nah, you can’t compare this one with Moldova 2022. The songs have nothing in common.

it’s folkloric so already yes it’s in common and then the eurofans as usual (that’s why I don’t frequent them and I’m very happy about it) criticize and never like anything, real people toxic. I assume that everyone at the start did not like Moldova 2022 or Iceland 2022 at all and finally, ohhh they went to the final, so that proves that finally they can work on their song.

Maryliss was my 2d favourite, the song is absolutely amazing, I can’t help but sing along to its chorus and backing harmonies and of course, that poetic and melodic beauty of Romanian language.

Eurovision needs charleston. So Puppet should be picked.

They should afterwards Ukrainify the song title to “????????? ???” (Perinnytsia Moya) to press out some more votes from the viewers

well.. I can appreciate an ethnic sound, but “Perinita mea” just doesn’t work for me. at all! and most importantly I can’t see it work for most people, but I think they considered this ethnic song like the next best thing out of an amount of terrible songs… on a first audition. I liked “Bla bla bla” at first, it seemed catchy, but now I just think it’s sooo so basic. I like “Puppet” more, it’s more interesting. My favorite though, after listening the full live version on youtube, is “DGT” – great voice, great attitude and the song really… Read more »

I’m so glad wiwi are picking all these ethnic sounding songs. It means if correct they will all qualify and cancel each other out and a decent pop dance or ballad will win (hopefully). Come on Gustaph.

And it’s really funny how many of the participants of this selection try so hard to promote their entries by cheating with numbers, so ridiculous, really. Deiona, Amia and Jaxman, as I can understand, from the same kind of team (they even have the same songwriters), so they made good music videos and bought a huge amount of views for them. Only votes, so now they have like 100-200 thousands views and less than 1 thousand likes. Adriana Moraru and Andrada Popa seem to cheat with the eurovisionworld poll, their numbers are way too big there. Why the hell would… Read more »

Well, there was definitely a boost of votes for Perinita mea from outside. Anyway, ‘true’ eurofans are really off with their favourites here either, Blablabla and Statues are not just basic, they’re more than it, and oh god, Blablabla feels like it was written by a 12 years old girl from twitter, not only because of repetitveness and blablablas with nananas, but also because of using those over the top pseudo-feministic and pseudo-empowering cliches.

Well, Perenita Mean isn’t my taste at all so preferably I’d want Aledaida to sin. I also like the song statues, D.g.t and bad&cool so I wouldn’t hate them winning but yeah unfortunately not a fan of the song that won the poll.
