The clip shows Andrew’s journey from childhood to adulthood, moving from black and white to colour as he launches into his Eurovision journey.
The lyrics speak of perseverance and hint at strength developed through struggle. You can’t break a heart if it’s already broken!

As an Australian, I’m (not so) secretly excited that in possibly our last year (let’s face it, EBU will renew the contract, but we’ll see officially after the contest I suppose), we have two and possibly three Australians representing countries. Lots of pride for me in that for a contest i love, but also I can’t help but think finally more televotes lol.

I’m glad that this will be the very first time in ESC history that both Greece (my country) and Cyprus are going to NQ in the semi-finals due to lack of motive, creativity and by using the same recipe of corruptive tactics (ERT) or melo-rejects (PIK), respectfully.
or both simply qualify because they are favourably in the same semi-final and likely to vote for each other. They both already have the advantage, irrespective of song quality.

Some people go to the gym for health reasons, others for vanity reasons.
AND? How is it your business for what reason anybody goes to the gym? Is it illegal to go to the gym for good looks? Is the couch potato police disapprove that or something?
It’s a shallow and sad definition of what “good looks” are, with dangerous ramifications for society, gym-goers included. They can do what they like, but there’s no need to boast about it on social media as if it’s some sort of success to be proud of. It’s not even sexy. If you had good muscles from out working in the fields, farming, or doing something else productive… then it would be sexy.

Being fit is sexy, and there’s nothing wrong with showing your aesthetics online after putting in hard work. Whilst some don’t find fit, athletic or muscular guys sexy, the majority of people do. There’s research to prove that, see Dr. Brain Grants study if you’re interested.
It can be sexy, but what’s unsexy is the hours and hours of their lives they spend to get it. It signifies what their priorities are. Like I said, it’s good to go to the gym for health reasons, both mental and physical. Too many people overdo it, though. The trick is to know when to stop.
I hate going to the gym
But why should anyone stop? It is a healthy thing to do why would anyone should stop gping to the gym? Be fat if you want but there is no reason to criticize someone for going to the gym
Nobody should stop, that’s not what I mean. I just mean a healthy amount of hours a week. Don’t worry too much about how you look, just how you feel.
Being sexy is objective and mostly dictated by society anyway. Years ago being fat and pale was sexy. Fit people may look good but you gotta admit it’s kind of a turn off when people go to the gym just to show off on social media or elsewhere.

Very basic! Day by day I feel that an Israeli victory is absolute! At the moment there is no competition for Noa Kirel, Sweden as usual will bring a generic club song… Israel brings a special song this time, this year is becoming easier for her as more and more songs are revealed. Quite amazing… I have to say..
Is the Israeli song available anywhere? I think we need to hear that first before jumpign to any conclusions.
This article is about Cyprus not Israel, it’s a different country . Israel only wins every 20 years , you have to wait until 2038 for your next victory . Thanks 🙂

I don’t understand the hype over Alessandra. Her entry is dated, kitschy and generic.. maybe it would succeed in 2000 but not in 2023, music and world music moved forward since!! Still she probably advances to the final, as the level of this Year’s songs is very poor.. but in stronger year she wouldnt have a chance…
The 2000 vibe is very in right now though. People are nostalgic and still love those type of songs and they work great on a big stage. She will do well, because it’s just a fun tune.
I was really expecting something a bit more similar to Running (underrated btw) and I’m not sure there’s a lot you can do with this (based on the snippet).
This wasn’t an entry I had super high hopes for but, after this snippet, even my minimal hopes just got a little lower.

Greek is one of the most melodic languages, Greece has an amazing music industry yet they have been sending mediocre songs ever since Helena, with few exceptions. I think they need to reinvent themselves like France and Spain did by organizing national selections or changing the delegation. This is not working

Exactly what I thought. Fans make it a problem when Cyprus sends female uptempo bops but were also unhappy when both Sandro and Andrew were selected with (what seems to be) somewhat “slower” songs…
