Melanie and Mariette for me!

I hope Kiana qualifiers for the final but I’m sure she is not making it because of the competition in the semi final, the age groups and the telephone. Anyway, I hope she participates in Melodifestivalen in the future.

It doesnt matter this year because Loreen will win The Melfest 100 %. But would be great for Nordman to be in the final.

We all know:

– Theoz
– Mariette
– Victor Crone
– Nordman

Are the ones to go through. You could pretty much guess the final and 2. Chance based on each heat :/

Theoz and Kiana 100 % in final
Mariette, Nordman, Tennesse Tears , Victor will fight for another two places for final. I predict Nordman and Tennese Tears. Mariette so close on 5 th place

If Kiana doesn’t make it to the finals, I hope she participates in a future year.

Theoz and Kiana are great pop earworms I’d love to see in the final. The way Theoz works the camera while performing gives me such joy and watching Kiana on Saturday gave me a similar feeling.

Tennessee Tears definitely deserves a place in the final as well, and although his performance was nothing too special, Diamonds is a well-produced pop song that deserves a spot in the final, too.

I think Theoz and Kiana are the only ones I like in the semi I wouldn’t mind Mariette or Nordman though

Honestly, I feel pity for Mariette trying and trying, and in vain. Year by year her songs are so generic and boring, nothing special… Nothing creative or artistic, she only comes back to MF this time of the year, just to see herself on the TV. Girl, why coming back if you’re not having a strong contender song???

I think the most obvious should be Kiana, Mariette and Theoz (the “strongest” in the lineup, in no particular order). the last one is still open to everyone else.

Ida-Lova’s song has really stuck with me and I’m now pretty bummed that Sweden kicked it to the curb; it’s easily my second-favorite song here this year at least. Of those that remain, Kiana for sure, then probably Victor and Nordman, and then, I don’t know, whatever.

i voted for elov and benny, kiana and tennesse tears. Mariette is great too but its her weakest attempt so far. Vicotri is incapable of giving us a decent piece of music. Theoz is fun but kinda cringy. wouldnt mind it in the final. I love melanie and her song but i don see her going through. Almost everything abt her entry is perfect but theres one thing i cant explain that i dont like. now nordman is really great too.

Mmh, Mariette’s the only one I *really* want to see qualify. On the other hand, we’re just waiting for the day when Loreen will or will not win Melfest, but hey… for once I wouldn’t detest a choice from Sweden! xD

I strongly disagree. Diamonds, Troubled Waters and Storm are all good pop songs; well-written and catchy with strong production and melodies. Lyrics are on the simple side and even kliché at times, but production, strong melody and his characteristic voice make up for that.

The first four. Tennessee Tears, Theoz, Mariette, and Victor.

As a Melodifestavlen debut, Tennessee Tears looked and sounded great. It has a slight Say Yes vibe but the country edge here works nicely. They give a better performance than quite a few of the entries already selected from elsewhere.

I really like Mariette but this song is her weakest entry to date. I’d like to see her in the final, but I’d also like to see her come back another year with something much stronger that’s fresher and more authentic for her.

The only sure qualifier here is Theoz! Rest is up for grabs.
But I think Victor Crone, Nordman and Kiana. As much as I love Tennesee Tears and want them in final I can not see them qualify. And Mariette is my fourth spot, interchangable.

I really thought this was Mariette’s best showing. In any other heat, she would have qualified easily.

I know that you are not the biggest fan of Victor’s songs, but Melanie ahead? 🙁 In all seriousness, I get it. If one is a fan of his music, like I am, this works really well. If not, then it doesn’t, as it doesn’t do anything unexpected. But that said, Victor and Theoz, and probably Panetoz, are the only ones who actually delivered on a level I wanted them to. With most others I knew from before, I don’t feel like the song was on the same level I was hyped for. Maybe I was hyped for Melfest way… Read more »

Melanie and Victor both have filler Melfest songs that don’t do much for me but Melanie is clearly the better vocalist, which is good enough to get my fourth spot.
I did finish my Melfest ranking video and I actually like a good 11 of the songs. I know I’ll never like Victor Crone as much as you’d like me to but I hope you can be proud of how much I allowed myself to enjoy Paul Rey!

I wouldn’t call her the better vocalist, though. I really enjoy his voice, and he fits his style like a glove. Unlike some other packages in Melfest, his never comes off as forced or artificial. But, if one is not into him, this is not the song to change your mind. It’s good for us who like his repertoire, and I’m fine with that. I am happy to hear you liked Paul, because so did I. Very glad to see him advance DTF. 🙂

THEOZ, Kiana and Nordman seem to be the most obvious choices Sweden would go for
No clue who the Swedes might choose for the last spot, but I really want Tennessee Tears in the final
Melanie Wehbe or Victor Crone would work too
Mariette and Elov & Beny are not for me, sorry

For me this is an easy one. Kiana, Nordman, Tennesse Tears and Melanie Wehbe. I know Theoz is quite popular on here and in Sweden, something about him and his songs give me major cringe though, however wouldn’t be surprised if he qualifies though, probably swapped with Melanie.

Are we sure the acts with the most votes go through? I was hoping they’d go with most combined points from age groups.

My votes will be – 5 hearts: Theoz (Masterpiece) – 4 hearts: Nordman, Kiana (more based on characters than songs) – 3 hearts: Tennessee Tears, Mariette, Victor Crone (I like them all very much) – 2 hearts: Melanie Wehbe, Elov & Benny (Not my thing, still decent)

There are some acts here where I am suprised they even managed to get through like Melanie Webhe, but there’s also a bunch: Theoz, Kiana and Nordman where i’m genuinely suprised they didn’t directly qualify, because they are honestly some of the best songs of the entire selection!

Colin

Two who should make it are Victor Crone and Theoz. I’d say Tennessee Tears and Nordman next, even if I wouldn’t mind Mariette making it through either. Kiana had a great performance, but the chorus is a bit flat for me. Melanie’s song feels too gloomy for the setting she’s trying to create. Elov & Beny shouldn’t have made it this far to begin with. It should have been Eva & Ewa or Rejhan on their spot.

I feel like such an old person, but I quite like Nordman’s entry! I votes for him, Mariette, Kiana and Theoz.
