People saying that Loreen’s song is bad, that people just like the artist/performance and wont ever listen to it… Yet the song is among the top40 most STREAMED songs at the moment in Norway and Estonia, top20 in Finland and Iceland… the song is just good and appreciated by the locals, whether you like it or not.

Alot of streaming doesn’t guarantee success in winning ESC but I agree the numbers are interesting. I personally did expect more of Loreen’s song (not the performance) and her previous success with the biggest ESC-ever might lead to the public (and juries) to expect more and getting disapointed. But I do admire Loreen as a artist and person and wish her the very best.

All of those countries are Scandinavian countries, for your information and it is quite normal for a Swedish Sony to be in top40 most streamed songs in those countries.

Wiwiblogs fans: Sweden sends generic pop music. There should be more native languages in WAC.

Also Wiwiblogs fans: Songs with Swedish lyrics in the bottom

But also on top (Theoz). The song still matters. The language can be a tiebreaker if the quality is similar.

All of these competitions no more matters I think. Loreen seems like the sole winner and it’s kind of unfair… well, both for melfest and esc.
