She was ready for a sentence, but instead she wrote it all down. And now, the United Kingdom’s hope for Eurovision 2023 is treating fans to a special performance in the British capital. Mae Muller will headline the London Eurovision Party 2023.
On Sunday 16 April, the “I Wrote A Song” singer returns to her home city for the UK’s biggest and best Eurovision warm-up party at the 2000-capacity venue HERE at Outernet.

Mae Muller is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter from London. Her signature feel-good pop sound is inspired by the likes of Gwen Stefani, The Chicks and Lily Allen.
She first found fame in 2019 when her song “Better Days” — a collaboration with Swedish group Neiked and American rapper Polo G — charted in the UK top 40 and reached the US top 30. She went on to perform the track on Jimmy Fallon’s late night talk show. Elsewhere, she supported girlband Little Mix on their UK tour.
Now, she’s taking on a new challenge as the UK’s hope for the Eurovision Song Contest. Mae said: “This is such a level up from anything I’ve ever done”.
The BBC internally selected Mae to represent the UK at Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool.
London Eurovision Party 2023
London Eurovision Party is the UK’s biggest Eurovision warm-up show. The party will see a selection of artists from the class of 2023, and song contest alumni, descend on the British capital. The London show will be a chance for our stars to perform for a British crowd before they make the trip up north to Liverpool in May.

To be fair though, the line-up is weak so far. No Kaarjia, no Mimicat, no Noa Kirel. no Andrew, no Vesna, no Lord of the Lost..
Good to see so many acts taking part. It will be good for Mae to get a Eurovision experience in front of a passionate home crowd.

I suspect she’ll be really good live. UK will definitely be on the left side of the board.
Unless things really change with the next two songs, I predict Finland will win the televote. The jury could go in many directions but I suspect Sweden, Norway and Ukraine will eat up the majority of the jury points. If the jury points are split though, Finland could actually win the whole thing.
I honestly can’t see Ukraine being top 10 in the jury vote, but probably in the televote
