During rehearsals at Eurovision 2024, Albania’s Besa has looked like a character straight out of Avatar. And during Semi-Final 2 she hopes to prove that she’s a “Titan” of music with her song about perseverance.
Besa triumphed at FiK (Festivali i Këngës, Albania’s national selection) with the Albanian rendition of her song, “Zemrën n’dorë.” She has since opted to revamp the track, translating it into English and infusing it with additional dance elements. Despite these changes, the song retains its powerful essence. She wants everyone to unlock their inner titan and slay the shadows to reach the light.

Albania at Eurovision 2024: Besa with “Titan”
Besa Kokëdhima, known simply as Besa, was born in Fier, Albania, into a family with a notable presence in business and politics. At the age of 15, she ventured to the United Kingdom to pursue her academic aspirations.
