Icelandic broadcaster RÚV announced today that a special jury has selected 15 songs for the national selection contest Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins. Sigurjón Brink, who was due to compete in the third semi-final of Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsin on January 29, died unexpectedly last night at his home in Garðabæ.
