The wait is finally over! Today during a press conference held by Dutch broadcaster TROS, Anouk revealed the song that she co-wrote with (incredulous) Swedish producer Tore Johansson for the Netherlands. After weeks of humming the snippet that she teased us with, we can finally enjoy the beautiful “Birds” in full.
While performing at an ALS muscle disease benefit concert in Utrecht last night, Anouk was asked by fans to sing her Eurovision song “Birds”. She eventually caved in and sang this a capella snippet – flawlessly.
Today Tore Johansson, Swedish music producer and songwriter, revealed that Dutch representative Anouk will sing a song called “Birds” in Malmö.
Anouk, the famous Dutch rock star set to represent the Netherlands at Eurovision 2013, has released a preview of her new album, “Sad Singalong Songs”. Conveniently enough, the album drops during the song contest on May 17, 2013 — the eve of the grand final.
