Melodi Grand Prix

When we think of Norway, we think of clean air, the world’s most modern ski jumps and Melodi Grand Prix! So when NRK revealed this year’s 15 MGP songs, our in-house panel of musical unprofessionals sharpened our claws and sat down to listen. In the run-up to each semi-final we’ll be sharing our reviews and ratings of each of the songs. Each jury member will offer his or her critique of each song, and then award it a score out of 10. The scores will then be averaged for the Wiwi Jury Verdict. The jury consists of Americans, Austrians, Belgians, Brits, Irishmen, Finns, and Romanians—so we are real international, y’all! Now let’s get down and dirty…

I liked Greece’s and Romania’s production the most. Both srpsuired me and in my opinion this is what Eurovision is all about. Showing something new, special and surprising at the same time. But these two… 😀 I hope one of them will win. =)But of course my country’s song is above all for me.I hope you saw it because I didn’t. Our tv and internet just went down exactly two… Read more »
