On Saturday, Susan Aho and Johanna Virtanen, the duo known as Kuunkuiskaajat, claimed victory in Euroviisut 2010, Finland’s national selection contest. The blond songstresses held off competition from Nina Lassander (second place) and Eläkeläise (third place), both of whom Wiwi’s readers predicted would finish in the top three.

Wiwi has a strong feeling that the group’s strong folk sound (and accompanying violinist) went down well with voters still intrigued by last year’s Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak. After a week of voting, Wiwi’s readers have decided that blond beauty Nina Lassander should win Finland’s national selection contest. Nina and her country music ballad Cider Hill earned 74% of all votes, putting her well ahead of second-place finisher Eläkeläiset with Hulluna humpasta (15%). Heli Kajo (Annankadun kulmassa) finished third with 4%. You can see if Nina lives up to your expectations tomorrow night. Finland’s Euroviisut 2010 finale takes place on YLE. Stay tuned!
