Malta’s Thea Garrett is a talented singer. But she seriously needs a new stylist and stage producer. As in Malta’s national final, her hair remains Kool-Aid colored red, and once again she’s joined on stage by a male dancer dressed as a frightening bird. She’s singing “My Dream,” and apparently her dream involves being eaten by this rabid bird of pray. If she performed the club mix of this song with those wings flapping behind her, you might mistake her for a drag queen at Carnival!
The Eurovision re-mixes keep coming, and Wiwi keeps on dancing! Next up is Malta’s Thea Garrett. Her dreamy ballad My Dream sounds even better when it’s up tempo. This has to play the clubs in Valletta.

Thea Garrett, Malta’s Eurovision entry, just made Wiwi scream. Not because she has a good voice, but because her outfit is SCARY. At the 1:50 mark, her dress comes to life and starts flapping like a sea monster. It could also pass for a dragon or a gremlin. Either way, Wiwi was SCARED. Check it out. I hope she changes the costume before Oslo or she might make Wiwi’s Worst Dressed List in 2010!
Thea’s “dream” looks more like a nightmare!
