Malta’s Chiara Siracusa proved her versatility on Thursday evening, performing a dance version of her ballad What If We at a contestants party hosted by Belarus. Wiwi thinks the performance was smokin’ and wonders if Chiara should have chosen this upbeat version for the actual ESC.
In any event, smoke has become a theme of Chiara’s time in Moscow. During Friday’s second rehearsal, she added billowing clouds of dry ice to her act. The Maltese songstress, who still works as a secretary despite her past success at Eurovision, told reporters that the smoke was mad distracting. “I didn’t really know where to go with it,” she said. “At one point the smoke went right into my mouth and I dried out completely.”
Music aside, Eurovision fans think Chiara has more going for her than her voice. She is currently ranked fourth in Wiwi’s ongoing search for Eurovision’s Next Top Model. Who says big can’t be beautiful?
