Wiwi’s search for Eurovision’s Artist of the Millennium continues, and today we’re reviewing the top finishers from the 2007 contest in Helsinki. Watch them, digest the action and think about who you’ll vote for starting on Sunday, July 19!

First Place: Serbia’s Marija Serifovic with “Molitva.” An angry lesbian with a beautiful voice.

Second Place: Ukraine’s Verka Serduchka with “Dancing Lasha Tumbai.” Their quirky outfits earned them a spot on Eurovision’s Worst Dressed List, but their non-stop sass, funky dancing and uber-catchy song earned them second place at Eurovision.

Third Place: Russia’s Serebro with “Song #1.” Russian women dressed as schoolgirls deliver some of the worst (and by that Wiwi means ‘fabulous’) lyrics ever: “Oh! Don’t call me funny bunny/ I’ll blow your money money/ I’ll get you to my bad ass spinning for you/ Oh! I’ll make it easy honey/ I’ll take your money yummy/ I’ve got my bitches standing up next to me.”

Really like your blog. The best act in Helsinki was definitely the Hungarian lady who brought her own bus stop.

I’m also looking at past Contest, starting from the very first one and working my way up to the present. I’ve just posted my bit on 1966.
