When Wiwi posted the official preview video of Romania’s Paula Seling and Ovi singing their entry “Playing with Fire,” you guys had some pretty strong reactions. A number of y’all said this would make the top 5 (assuming they add a bit of choreography), while others were tasting vomit in the mouth. “Soulless” wrote:
WTF.This pseudo electro/pop songs written in english just to reach fame and glory where is the country pride and more by avoiding their own language, they are making the lyrics simple ridiculous “you and me cant you see we`re playing with fire, tell me now do you feel this burning desire †WTF is this ??
“promethea” questioned whether the duo actually knows how to sing live:
their voices are strongly manipulated – I wonder if that is in accordance with ESC rules (live singing)…
Fortunately, “ruxa” has come to the rescue and provided a video from Romania’s national final. Paula and Ovi actually sound a lot better live! Wiwi thinks that Romanian officials should promote the live video and not the promo. Compare for yourself below. (Note: Wiwi loves when flames of desire are replicated on stage with actual fire. Keeps the performance hot, yo!)

Live at the Romanian Final:
hey … they are the best for me 😉
<33
go Romania !
When I heard the song for the first time i like it but it doesn’t seemed the best to me…Then i heard them singing live at national final. THEY WERE THE BEST!!!! This song will be at leasst on top 10 on the final. Believe me…. Paula and Ovi will go and sing only live…cause it sounds wonderful( after wiwi advice)…P.S.: Bobo, what about “only romanian could like this song”?Or I can explaine, ESC had great songs…that might revealed the beauty, the characteristics and the differences between the nations…The only think U could never revealed it’s your intelligence…go to sleep…
lol bobo, it’s only your opinion but trust me, who knows good music will love this one 😉 the song is good, modern and their voices are great…combine that with a great show and you’ll have a winner, lol
boy, boy, boy? girl, girl, girl? i agree with “soulless” above. these lyrics are horrible.
