Because Stella Mwangi, the beauty who defeated the BlackSheeps at Melodi Grand Prix, rode a wave of national popularity and swept Miss Gaga aside. Here’s a look at the Norwegian charts:
Norwegians clearly love their MGP contestants. The BlackSheeps stand at #6 with “Dance Tonight”—which has shades of Ireland’s 2009 entry “Etcetera” by Sinead Mulvey & Black Daisy. And Hanne Sørvaag, the girl with the glitter guitar, comes in at #9 with “You’re Like a Melody.”

The 3Js from the Netherlands are the only other current Eurovision contestant on the iTunes charts. They’re at #9 in Holland with “Je Vecht Nooit Alleen.”
Among former Eurovision contestants, Greek god Sakis Rouvas has two hits on the Greek charts: “I Dio Mas” is #8, “Gia Mas” is #9.
