Corsican opera star Amaury Vassili released a sneak peak of his 2011 Eurovision entry today. Apparently he’s trying to bring a dose of class to Dusseldorf and is leaving all the Europop and electronica at home. (Malena Ernman, the last great opera singer to perform at Eurovision, tried to mix pop with opera, and she finished near the bottom). It’s hard to pass judgment just yet, but Wiwi knows this song is going to standout, if only because it doesn’t lend itself to star-spangled booty.
