Have Blue sparked a celebrity stampede for Eurovision 2012? Just days after the boy band finished 11th at Eurovision 2011, reports have emerged that boy group JLS would like to take up the reigns for Britain in Baku.
Speaking to the Daily Star, band member Oritsé, 23, suggested the group would jump at the chance. “We would consider doing Eurovision if the opportunity came up. It would be an honour,” he said. “We were following the competition this year and 100% backing Blue. We think they did great. If it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t be where we are now.”
The group’s path to Eurovision, however, may be more similar to Ireland’s Jedward. Like the blond-coiffed twins, JLS got their big break on the X Factor, finishing second to Alexandra Burke back in 2008.
What do y’all think? Would JLS stand a chance at Eurovision? Watch their video below and let Wiwi and Vebooboo know what you think.
