The women competing at Eurovision have more than great voices: they’ve got personalities that sparkle, and bodies that will make you sweat. Over the past month babes from Baku to Bucharest, Sofia to Stockholm, have been dieting, exercising, waxing, and plucking with the hope of becoming Eurovision’s Next Top Model 2012. Established in 2009, the competition has attracted more than 60,000 votes thus far, and became the premier online modelling contest for women competing at Eurovision. We’re here to let the ladies shine.
Twenty-five hopefuls entered the House of Wiwi on April 1. During the semi-finals Wiwi’s readers cast a total of 4,934 votes. Based on those results we eliminated two women on April 13, four women on April 25, and three women on May 3. Every time we had to say goodbye to someone tears were shed, stilettos snapped and the women leaving the house tried to steal my towels. Now 16 (mostly) beautiful women stand before us, and it’s up to you to decide which one of them has what it takes to succeed as an international superstar when the Eurovision glory fades.
Before you vote, please review their portfolios below. You can also see them performing their Eurovision entries on Wiwi’s Contestants Page. You can vote for as many contestants as you would like, but you can only vote one time. Be sure to check the box next to each woman who you want to support. The poll closes on June 3, more than a week after the Eurovision finale. We want the women to be able to focus on their Eurovision performances on May 26. Dealing with the stress of this contest would simply be too much for them.
It’s up to you, Europe. Start voting now!
