Greece’s Elefhteria Eleftheriou owned the stage during her first rehearsal at ESC 2012. Her performance was full of energy, joie de vivre and plenty of hip-shaking. The choreography remains as strong as it did in the national final, but this time there is more emphasis on the “maniac” she references in her lyrics. Observe the random body shakes during the chorus. Interestingly, Eleftheria has ditched two of her male back-up dancers from the Greek selection and replaced them with women. We did not expect her to give up the man candy. But perhaps she needed some females to support her with her vocals? In any event, we love that Eleftheria is wearing a cheetah-print bra underneath her Greece t-shirt. Have a look when the camera zooms in, and you’ll see that Eleftheria is channeling animal!

1/2 way through the song her voice starts to go bad. : ( I think adding the girl dancers don’t help. She’s the star, she is what the straight guys should be looking at up on stage, not them. The male dancers are for for the girls and the gays. I say bring back the male dancers. As for the choreography, yeah it’s pretty bad too. Just cause she sings, “You make me dance like a maniac” doesn’t mean you have to dance like an fool.
This is a weak performance, if they will just dance in the semi and final..then its BAD. It isnt even a surprising choreo, and having those girls on stage must be the result of thinking men should have something to “watch” too, if you know what I mean, but to be honest..have you seen their faces? If not, go on eurovision.tv and see for yourself. They look BAD. So, so bad. Which makes me think Eleftheria wanted no one to be prettier on stage with her. Haha, she definitely accomplished that.
