Danny Saucedo—he of electro-pop space suits and lyrics like “let’s get wicked…hit the street”—has gone all sentimental. Rather than dropping another number for you to work out to, the blonde, muscle-bound pop star has teamed up with Swedish crooner Tommy Körberg on a downtempo duet called “I Can See Myself In You.”

We’re not going to read into this too much and make claims about homoeroticism, or comment on the apparent daddy-son thing that’s going on with the lyrics. Nor will we interpret the line, “I can see myself in you and I say it’s all okay” as anything nasty. But we will say that it’s amazing that Bjorn from ABBA wrote the lyrics to this song, along with Danny’s regular lyricist Tobias Gustavsson.

You can have a listen below. What do y’all think of Danny’s latest ditty?

And I’m certain to 100% that if you had talked to him and noticed his charm and charisma you would never write all this crap about him. You are really such simple Danny haters and it makes me and… Read more »

Damn, I want to like it cause Bjorn wrote it but the song is way to repetitive with the words “I can see myself in you” over and over and over and…. Its like he couldn’t think of other words to put in the song so well just repeat the chorus over and over and over and…. ugh. What happened to the days where a song had tons of lyrics, telling out a story, then only sang the chorus 2 – 3 times at max? Bjorn has followed suite with all the new lazy writers now, unfortunately.
