Lithuanian voters have looked past Andrius Pojavis’ tacky magician’s outfit, and handed him the ticket to Eurovision 2013.

The 29-year old had a rabbit up his sleeve, and thankfully it was a killer song. “Something” sounds very now. If you close your eyes and forget about his Lithuanian accent, you could imagine the Killers or Coldplay singing it. It’s my favorite entry that we’ve heard thus far, which means it is better than the songs from BelarusBelgium and Switzerland. (You can listen to all of them by clicking here).

What do you think of Lithuania’s entry? Styling aside, do you think this is one of the stronger entries to come out of the country in recent years?

It kinda annoys me how this sort of pop-rock-midtempo-whatever-you-wanna-call-it songs are so overrated in this competition.. His voice is fine and he’s cute, which usually makes contestants end up on a good spot in the final.. Lithuania always manages quite well to make through semifinals, which I’d celebrate to if they choose less boring songs

It’s an obvious The Killers rip-off, but it’s a good song nonetheless. I don’t have a problem as much with the outfit (that can be easily changed), but what about his very static performance? It’s a rock song and he sings it at the mike stand? Doesn’t make sense.

With a more current look and a rock-ier performance, Andrius could see himself in the top 10 in the Malmö final.

Hmmm…He really do not sing very well do, and I don’t know If it is a good thing That You have to close Your Eyes to get something positive about this act! I really don’t know what to say about this song so I don’t, Maybe it Will get me after a while.

Yeah. I like the song. (Best entry since the studio version ‘little by little’ which i love… sounds like the same key in fact… actually does this song have any more notes tha. One… little by little im sure had three… anyway… Seriously need to get rid of the suit and the hat. And the lady in white! Why? Just why? Any producer or director with an ounce of talent could make this song work and flash up the image. Think this will be on my most played list by the time the contest airs.
