Anouk, the famous Dutch rock star set to represent the Netherlands at Eurovision 2013, has released a preview of her new album, “Sad Singalong Songs”. Conveniently enough, the album drops during the song contest on May 17, 2013 — the eve of the grand final.

So far Anouk has been very cryptic. But, writing on her Facebook page, she did dispel any and all speculation that we’ll hear “Stardust” at Eurovision: “And no, this is not the song that I will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 🙂 ”
“Stardust”, a powerful ballad reminiscent of Adele’s “Skyfall”, is absolutely gorgeous. Anouk’s voice has never sounded better. That makes us wonder if it, together with the name of the album, indicates the type of song that she will perform in Malmö. If we’re on to something then the rock diva may be setting the guitar aside to focus on her dreamy vocals. Do you think that it is a good idea for her to come with a ballad, or would you have liked one of her signature loud rock songs?

Wow, what an incredible song! Her voice is so clear and beautiful. This would definitely be the winning song if she had entered it.
Winning song for me! … If it enters Eurovision, of course.
I told You already Anouk can do anything with her voice:)) She is allround, the song for eurovision can be…everything!!! Sad we have to wait till february, Seems so long-:) But choosing for songs like stardust Will be tricky You like this sort of songs or You don’t, I do not think She Will take That gamble.
