Apparently Finnish feminists are not happy with Krista Siegfrids’ ESC song Marry Me. We don’t understand why. She only suggests that a woman’s life isn’t complete without a man, and offers up lyrics like “I’m your slave and you’re my master”. That sounds like a fun Friday night to us.

Anyway, Krista isn’t bothered. “It’s a good theme, happy and joyful. I only want to bring some happiness and love to the Finnish people!” she’s said of her song. “And it gave a good excuse to create a big show to go with it”.

She keeps the fun going with this official music video. Enjoy!

Great video. It nicely explains the joke without spoiling it, too.
Love the guys’ faces in the campfire scene.

The lyrics are satirical – I think it’s pretty easy to gauge that from watching the not- exactly-subtle music video.

I like her attitude, and the song is catchy as hell.
