Read the lyrics to Cascada’s “Glorious”—Germany’s entry for Eurovision 2013. She’ll compete in the grand final on May 18.

Do you know it’s time to let yourself go?
Why don’t we just let it show?
Tell me what you’re waiting for

‘Cause I, I wanna live before I die
Crash and burn and lose my mind
We can set the world on fire

Tonight we can be glorious
We are young at heart and we’re free
The world is ours, I can feel the music in me
Glorious, found a love that eyes cannot see
Delirious, oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh

I believe the little child inside of me
Can reveal my destiny
And one day I’ll be breaking free

Now’s the time, we’re running at the speed of light
I’ll meet you on the other side
Every time I close my eyes

Tonight we can be glorious
We are young at heart and we’re free
The world is ours, I can feel the music in me
Glorious, found a love that eyes cannot see
Delirious, I can feel the music in me

(Glorious) Found a love that eyes cannot see
(Glorious) (We are young, oh oh, oh oh oh)
(We are young, oh oh, oh oh oh)
(We are young, oh oh, oh oh oh)
(We are young, oh oh, oh oh oh)

Tonight we can be glorious
We are young at heart and we’re free
The world is ours, I can feel the music in me
Glorious, found a love that eyes cannot see
Delirious, oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh

I really like this song, I could see people listening to it after Eurovision- I certainly will be! I think it could do really well, I would love to see a win for Germany in Malmö!

will you write about plagiating claims??! i dont know… i think Glorious is far from “Euphoria”… Eurphoria is masterpiece, this is average, maybe top 10 but not top 5

Blitzkids mvt. should have won – they were miles above the rest of the competition

I should be happy… I mean a known name… Upbeat song… But I kind of skip it half way through as I get board. I hope it will do well, it’s just not high on my playlist. (I skip to Euphoria or ‘see you again’ from Loreens album or more often Ben Ivory… Well I’m a freak or a queer or something) x

Scott, I am not a cascada hater, I do like her song “everytime we touch”…but You have to admit That in this case the name looks more important than the song! You admit it yourself You don’t see a hole Victory on the final, well why not then? Isn’t cascada the best There is, Because this is what I hear and read.

I’m sorry but I have to disagree with all the Cascada “haters” of the moment. I think this is a bold move by Germany. I personally don’t think any of the songs in their selection had “total winner” written on them but for Germany to send Cascada is as big a deal as when Russia sent t.A.T.u. to Eurovision. Cascada are an international household name. Sure, there are overtones of Euphoria throughout the song, but every year after a winning song, there is always songs which sound similar. Cascada haven’t strayed from their normal sound and Natalie belted out that… Read more »

It looks like Because this is cascada nobody can be objective anymore!
Would people think the Same way when another singer sing this song?
Its ironic though that this is probably one of Cascadas worst songs ever. One big chorus…it has a reason why the german jury didn’t give her 12 points You know!

Garbage song. It’s this kind of music that shames Eurovision.

It’s well constructed, and we can expect a professional and polished performance with broad public and jury appeal. In other words, it has winning potential, although I suspect the public vote could be split by more taste-specific entries.
