This year’s Melodifestivalen contestants have sung about dead fish, lit fires inside pianos, and seen off the likes of the Swedish House Wives and Army of Lovers. Now, as the 10 finalists prepare to do battle in the Friends Arena, it’s time to do away with each other. Who do you want to see emerge victorious and represent Sweden at ESC 2013?

Update: This poll is now closed. Click here to see the results!

You can listen to each of this year’s acts below and then vote in our poll. You can vote for as many contestants as you’d like, but you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to check the box next to each act you want to support. Then let us know who you think has the best chance of winning Eurovision and who you think the Swedes will actually send. As we know, the Swedes don’t always pick the best act! Do you think the jury and public will go for different acts this year? How will the running order affect things?

The Finalists and the Running Order

1. Ulrik Munther with “Tell the World I’m Here”

2. David Lindgren with “Skyline”

3. State of Drama with”Falling”

4. Anton Ewald with “Begging”

5. Louise Hoffsten with “Only the Dead Fish Follow The Stream”

6. Ralf Gyllenhammar with “Bed on Fire”

7. Ravaillacz with “En riktig jävla schlager” (A Real Damn Schlager)

8. Sean Banan with “Copacabanana”

9. Robin Stjernberg with “You”

I want Sean banan to win! He is amazing and the song is an instant hit! I don’t care about the lyrics or that he is trying to be funny! Its a fun catchy song way better than that shit you sent last year euphoria and he is very charming. You guys automatically make the final this year so have some fun this year! People already know Sweden is a pop music powerhouse everywhere in the world, including the americas and asia so have fun this year and send Sean to prove you are not music snobs and know how… Read more »

I must be one of the very few people that doesn’t want YOHIO to win this year’s Melodifestivalen and certainly NOT Sean Banan! My biggest concern with “Heartbreak Hotel” is that the juries at the Eurovision Song Contest tend to hate rock based entries.

I really hope Ulrik wins it this year, but it’s certainly going to be a nail-biting finish, mainly between YOHIO and Ulrik.

I don’t really mind that much who wins in Sweden, as long as it is not the god-awful Sean Banan or Ravaillacz. Ulrik Munther will probably walk the competition, with his tailor-made victory song, although YOHIO might provide him with some competition. The two best songs in the final, “OTTDFTS” and “Bed On Fire” have practically no chance.

I’m hoping to see YOHIO, David, State of Drama, or Sean (It’s a guilty pleasure I’m sorry LOL) to represent Sweden. Most of the entries this year from the other countries are either a snoozefest or forgettable. Please Sweden, bring something that we’ll remember

I think Yohio will win and that scares me. I think the song’s boring and just continues on and on without going anywhere, and he didn’t hit many notes in the semifinal. I fear that it will be another The Ark if we send him. He’s a cool guy though, I’ll give him that. Even though I didn’t quite like Anton’s song at first, it’s actually grown on me after I saw it performed again at Andra Chansen (and no, I’m not a 15-year-old girl). I think his performance is among, if not, the strongest in the entire competion with… Read more »

Yohio’s image is different, to Europeans, so I get that aspect of his appeal. What I don’t get, however, is the appeal of his song, which is just another run-of-the-mill 80s glam rock-esque song. His vocal is the chorus was also surprisingly awful. I personally hope that Ralf will take this, but I think Yohio has it in the bag at this point.
