After initially announcing that there would be no video due to lack of funds, the Romanian delegation decided to go ahead and shoot one anyway. And boy, did they shoot the Eurovision video of the year or what?
Whether he is parachuting from a pink plane, speed driving on the highway or sailing into the sunset with his girlfriend whilst wearing a pink scarf around his neck, the so-called Romanian castrato shows that he has balls! Take a look and sound off below!
Cezar is the greatest contra-tenor of the moment in the world. Look to all his performances in the greatest opera’s in Europe and America. Nathalie I think you were a nobody in the operaworld, I think when you give such a commentary.

Nathalie, I first read your comment about “another century” and imagined the 1800s as being what you intended, which made me laugh. I dunno, personally I think the 1 point that the performance received was generous.

Do you believe that Cezar could win important international opera contests? Could he receive so many international awards, international recognition? Would Andrea Bocelli invite Cezar as guest in his concert just for nothing??? Nathalie are you a Romanian disappointed fan of other competitor in the National Selection?? nathalie sounds like she is jealous 🙂 since she sang opera for 2 years (under the shower only) we totally understand her.andrea bocelli supports cezar and they have this month a concert together but i guess nathalie is more of a star than bocelli and more entitled to criticize cezar’s vocal abilities and singing than the great maestro

@Voo I fucking listen to opera quite often, and I sung it too for two years and I say THIS SONG IS A COMPLETE SHIT. And I’m not even sure if these vocals are opera or just falsetto. It’s totally unsynchronized, just like Krassimir Avramov’s song, which as well was a huge shit but at least it was hillarious. A song you could say was a right pop/opera mixture was Alenka Gotar in 2007, THAT WAS FUCKING OPERA. kalomira greece, you just proved my point and posted another mean comment.you may believe that greece is better than romania in eurovision(who cares about that) but overall romania produces better music anyway, romanian artists are famous in the clubs in greece while the viceversa is not true.

Dear Sandra if you want to know i hate the greek entry but i support my country! I think we have to be fairest the romanian entry isn’t good enough as was last year!! Cezar hasn’t a great voice..But what i know is that greece is much better than romania almost every year!! We are in top 10 every year from introducing semi finals!! Anyway i wish you good luck!!

Nice, interesting, surprising video It shows a different Cezar, both romantic, dreamer and daring. A complex personality, a true artist. @Nathalie – I would surely not call you stupid, but I would definitely call you deaf (in a certain sense). I think the feedback to Cezar´s song this year is very much culturally specific, so you are probably one of those who do not understand the genre and type of voice (not your fault). This is one of Romania´s best entries so far, but it is a matter of musical taste, after all.

I think the song is hilarious, personally. Did he really need to ascend two octaves? And the line “Love is so deeeeep… and it makes my life complete!” is so cheesy that it never fails to make me laugh. More seriously, popera songs at ESC are always a pleasure, but this really doesn’t compare musically to La Voix, Illusion, or the immortal Cvet z juga.
Overall it’s not bad, but he has to pull it off live.
Unfortunately, while seeing Cezar do all these kind of things may look interesting, but the “adrenaline filled video” doesn’t quite work out with a song like this. It’s like plonking in Aqua’s Barbie Girl for an advert featuring a Bugatti Veyron.
Surprisingly, British tabloid newspaper the Daily Mirror have done a review on Romania’s entry yesterday. And it ain’t pretty.

For those who don’t know – a countertenor is a male alto who uses falsetto!Cesar is a countertenor and he speak in quite a deep voice, he’s not castrated and he’s not gay.Some people are ignorant, jealous or just like to have a laugh at other people, because they are insecure. Why do people have to be so narrow-minded? Good lord….go to a doctor, Ronnie tittyboy!
